OP, Hasbro owns Kenner, and they specifically designed these as a "What If Kenner did these in the 80's". Don't be a hater (same goes to anyone who loves to "reeeee" whenever a toy isn't specifically geared towards them personally)
According to the PixelDan interview, they have waves planned out into 2022 so far. These HasbroPulse 2020 versions just have the exclusive sticker and outer box but these will be at retail next year as individual releases.
I fucking LOVE these. I want to see their entire Marvel roster from the 70's & 80s costumes done in this format. I want The Punisher and the entire Fantastic Four done ASAP. Would also love to see Conan, Red Sonja and other 70's Conan characters as well as a Tomb of Dracula and other 70's horror figures done. And more villains as well. Fuck, just take the entire 1980s "Who's Who" comic series and make every character in this style.
HASBRO IF YOU'RE READING THIS: Remember the Kenner Motto of "Collect Them All!" Don't go overboard on exclusives and hard to find figures. You said in the PixelDan interview you want this line to be "fun", so don't make it a frustrating mess to chase and collect. I honestly want to Collect Them All without having to pay scalpers to get them. But hey, if you want to make a Daily Bugle Playset with a pack-in J Jonah Jameson then I'm cool with that!
