They're actually releasing figures that are making 3P CHUG shit completely obsolete. The MP class range was the only frontier where 3P companies could actually compete.
Now, it looks like 3P companies are going to have to do completely unique things that Hasbro probably won't do (the beast-formers, Nicee, shit like OP's image). Otherwise, they'll either go out of business or their factories will get shut down.
Personally, I'm all for 3P companies expanding to do figures and lines that HasTak either flat out won't do, or won't get around to doing in the foreseeable future. Hopefully, they'll realize there's a market out there for updated Unicron Trilogy, Beast Wars, Prime and even Animated stuff.
