The two giant arm cannons are too big for that mold, and the trailer isn't a good fit for the Siege Optimus (you can attach it, but the cab can't turn and it's too close to the trailer). The swords might work but the Siege mold has some weird issues when turning the wrists (the front of the arm unpegs a bit since that bit doesn't use a screw, it's all friction).

I can answer some of those:

-They wanted an Optimus at the $40 price point to match Megatron, and the picked the newest for so people could pick one up that didn't have the trailer
-Nemesis uses the Siege mold so they don't sell the same mold twice in the Netflix line, comes with a trailer for extra insensitive
-Gets POTP Nemesis accessories for more incentive, even if they won't work. well it the Siege mold.

Overall? Yeah. The TR isn't that great, but looks nice, the RTS version has good articulation but looks too different and is small. With how WFC does toys, we might get a cool update with a trailer at some point.

I don't mind the different/updated looks and size, but the alt mode looks weirdly cartoonish with tiny hands on robot mode. And the sword is too small for any two-handed poses, but you can always replace that with another sword.

Considering how different Baldigus and the Commandos look in contrast to the original designs I still think it fits. Besides that RTS prime mold really feels like it was made for Black Convoy. His height also gives him this Kid Buu vibe where he feels commanding in spite of his stature and it also helps Baldigus feel bigger too.

Ectotron's vehicle mode is pretty spot on as far as size comparison goes, and his bot mode should be bigger because the hearse is much bigger than a Delorean, but his problem is he's made off an old voyager so he towers over Prime. Thankfully he can easily be adjusted to fit with the new smaller figures by simply not extending his thighs all the way.
