Be sure to research and use all the most popular hashtags for maximum exposure (up to 30 hashtags work per post, past that they won't register). Some of said tags are full of ACBA types, but hey, this is trying to build a following, right? You do what you gotta do.
Also, Insta resolution isn't that bad, it maxes out at 1080 x 1080. That's about on par with most photos posted here. The compression is another story, but there's no real way around that, just do your best.
Also, it's pretty hard to get people to click through to a site, so make sure you're actually offering enough content to make that tempting. Maybe showing some behind-the-scenes of how you set up a shot or something, not just "a few more snaps of this scene from different angles." What is your endgame, anyhow? Are you trying to sell your services as a photographer, monetize this somehow, etc? Or is it just to show off your work?
