>>8503914I have previous releases of all of those figures in that set in one form or another, but they really fill out your displays and your vehicles with the 5POA figures. I naturally would love them to be TVC's also, but a cheap alternative can have it's positives, and I think that set is pretty good. I kinda wish it was a few bucks cheaper, but I can tolerate the $30 price point. I'd like it more if it was just a few dollars cheaper; $25-28, somewhere around there.
>>8503920The droid itself is a pretty good mold in my view, and overall the droids make for the more interesting figures in the 5POA repacks.
>>8503923They know we like army building. I think what keeps them from going more all in is older fans, who care more about having carded figures that all look like other carded figures that they're never going to open. They're sort of experimenting with changing TVC as is, with those Amazon exclusive Troop Build up packs with the Sith Trooper that had all those extra weapons, and there's another coming for The Mandalorian, but it's not an army builder, but instead a pack with Mando and The Child. I think what stops them from playing around more with the line is some of the mint on card purests:
>"No! It's got the wrong font on the name pill! It's ruined!">"You can't put a Rogue One Stormtrooper on an Episode IV cardback! The armors are completely different!">"No! They repacked an in demand troop builder, instead of repainting it as a commander! I want a new figure instead!"
