>>8489830Hasbro and Takara signed an agreement that their figures would be the exact same at the time of PotP, when prior to that they seemed to have some kind of agreement, where Takara would get to do figures that looked closer to the cartoons, and Hasbro had to make their's look like the vintage action figures. This often led to fans claiming that Takara had the better figures and that they weren't going to buy the Hasbro version, because they wanted the Sunbow colors. If you notice, there's always things that the Takara version would change and correct to be more in line with the Sunbow cartoons. Hasbro eventually got some new agreement, where the Hasbro versions would be the same as the Takaras, and as a result, Takara never got to make their PotP versions.
Honestly Takara putting out PotP figures now, just seems like a waste of time, since Studio Series 86 is coming out, and the PotP figures were of very low quality.
