Haven’t seen a thread in a while despite Abe being out. Is he as bad as reviews suggest? Looks like he falls apart, has a weird cut throat and that they dubbed down on the rubber torso despite it being two parts defeating the whole point.

The problem with the Jazwares is pretty insane. I had it crouch and the entire piece just disassembled.

Now I can understand its only 20 dollars but jesus christ dude not even the shittiest legends disassembled on the spot for me.

Not a fan on how they did the neck, but other than that he seems fine. Plastic used feels different from Hellboy though, dunno why. Like the rubber used is a bit thinner. Would've liked an extra head.

Killy is still the best figure they've made. He'll never be topped because his only gimmick is the rubber jacket, shoulder pads, kneepads, and boots. All of which work as intended without sacrificing articulation.

I kind of want that stupid Aitsu figure even though I have no connection to the punk drunkers brand. Anyone have it? Looks like it's just the 1/12 synthetic human with different paint and a different head, which isn't a bad thing its actually good imo.

Just opened mine.
Definitely some odd choices but in the end he’s not bad, and if you have Hellboy you gotta have Abe. If the line ends here I’m happy we got these two, if they keep going I’m going to need Kroenen.

It’s funny—most of the licensed Hellboy goods that came out in the last couple of years have been just Hellboy and Abe. There was the Funko set, a pin set, 1000toys....

In any case, what’s the skelly in your pic? I think I need a skeleton now, and I’ve kind of been thinking about the Storm Collectibles 2-pack.

pretty excited for these, I read the whole Mignolaverse during quarantine and ordered Hellboy and Abe afterwards. Still waiting on BBTS to ship them though...
And I'm seconding that request for Kroenen, I really like his design [toyler]even though I didn't really like what they did with him in the story[/toyler]
But I think the next one I would want is Liz, her design isn't super exciting, but I would like to have the complete trio. Roger and Johann would be neat too.

Easily my favourite figure in my collection. The CaRB is my second.

I have Killy, CaRB, Etherow, a Synthetic Human, 3 Safeguards and a GlyNinja Dark, with Master Chief on the way. I love every single one and am still upset I never managed to get any more of the Glyos-collab figures.

I will absolutely keep buying more. I would buy Zoichi. I would buy every BLAME! figure they release. I will be buying the Female Synth model.

My only wish is that they would re-release the Anti-CaRBs, Kokto Genetic Camo Activity unit and the GI-Joes in 1/12 scale.
Oh, and that I could find a Synth Human test unit for less than $400.

That's exactly why I like them. It evokes a completely dystopian future that fits my collection perfectly. But, that's the great thing about figure collecting, there's literally something for everyone who collects. I just wish they made more like this and that they were slightly more affordable. I wish I could get them like they were mass produced!

Yep got standard and deluxe versions of both. A little pricey but I've had so much fun with them I'd have to say they're worth it! Can get them for a great deal 2nd hand too. Got my deluxe versions 2nd hand for £110 each which is cheaper than you can get the std version in the uk

You're actually responding to two different people. Also, that's a very passive-aggressive way of asking for pics anon.

I've already told you my opinion of 1000Toys; honestly, I think they're as close to perfect as you can get on the toy market right now. The bonus of the DMC figures are the great amount of accessories (which you definitely pay for) and the wired clothing - even if Nero's hood is a little unwieldy.

I notice you worked out you can pop his other busters onto his belt too. For some reason every single reviewer missed this.

Nero's balance is damn good too. Never had a problem posing him.

I worked out pretty quickly about attaching the other busters to the belt pegs since the ones they supplied were too small imo.

I've also modded punchline aswell but don't have any pics of that atm.
I drilled straight down and cut off at the arm so now I can have him displayed with punchline in its normal form and I used a revol joint to reattach when I want to and it looks good!

I've thought about cutting it down, but man, I payed way too much to be cutting my figures up. I wish rawhide had a closed-up version though.

Anybody knew what happened to the Robox line and Mr. Kim's involvement with 100toys?
Last time I went to the official site the toys are sold out for ages, and besides some concept art post a few years ago, that was the only signs of activity from that line of toys.
Are they no longer supporting the toyline or it's on indefinite hiatus?

However, the KO is identical in every way, apart from the weathering. Oh, and the KO comes in the same green, but also black, blue, yellow and red.

Probably the only time I would ever recommend anyone getting a KO version of a figure.
