Most if the toylines I collect (or collected in the past) have some pretty lackluster female figures. Usually the bucks are just poorly made in comparison to the men, but sometimes the typical female buck doesn't represent the character well.
Also, in many cases the characters themselves aren't interesting to me. For instance, G.I.Joe has maybe 5 or 6 interesting women in the entire franchise. MOTU has even less if you exclude She-Ra. Only Marvel has a wide variety of interesting female characters but their insistence on a one-size fits all buck for 90% of their characters leads to a rather dull lineup.
