That's all each Gomez has been in each iteration. And the skull head guy. An oversized skull head on a really skinny body. The lizard looks like a lizard head on a snake-eyes wannabe body. Baron I feel is the only Mezco creation that has any novel feel to it.

Got my Baron Bends in from BBTS recently, first Mezco figure I've picked up.

This dude is superb in like, every aspect, and really evokes a feeling of being a kid again with how you can kind of just place him in any setting with other figures and it just works.

I guess it's a good thing more of their stuff isn't like him because I'd be buying them all.

Yeah, mark up was shit, but it's better than the 200+ or so he goes for on ebay. Rather deal with BBTS' late tax than ebay's.

At the very least now I'll be paying attention to what Mezco's doing so I don't have to do that again, as long as it's not capeshit.

Picked up my first Mezco as well. I'm really impressed with the figure, though I know there are much better Mezco figures overall (Popeye, Space Ghost, Baron Bends) this is still a fantastic figure. Might be a little biased since I love Moon Knight, but it's still leagues above the offerings from other companies. Any tips for a first time? Is there any trick to the torso articulation? I've seen some reviewers achieve some decent range with the figure.

I would have really liked to get this new Gomez, and the samurai and spy one, but I can't justify $150 US for an $80 figure with a bunch of extras I won't use...and now the older ones all going for at least $400-$700 US now.

Have you done anything with the head to get it to fit on the neck?

Only annoying this about this Bats is the neck is too wide to fit any of the other heads onto.

I also really like this custom head and have been thinking of getting it.
@bamsters_toys painted suit with @action_figure_customs head

I am partial to the short ears.

I got an extra close mouth head and took out the mouth piece and replaced the awkward open mouth expression on the short eared version.

Honestly, I'd love to have gotten this. But Mezco are really only catering to USAmericans. If you're outside Burgerland then you can add a minimum $50 to the cost.
Their shipping rates are the absolute worst I've seen. They're worse than the monopoly-tier thieves at DHL; worse than Empire Earth and worse than BBTS (who will absolutely rape you on shipping if you're buying internationally).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like except for Star Trek Bones (and maybe that Hydra goon that was more of a display piece?) they've never really shown a figure that they didn't make?

I'll further point out that the black pleather on his chest is so insanely soft and delicate that even just using the swap-able chest-emblems leaves permanent marks on it because ANY raised edge underneath pressing into it.

Though that is a design flaw rather than defect.

Same anon here, after I bitched at them yesterday they finally got back to me with replacement heads on the way!

And yes, I do live outside the states(Canada). I'm happy but still a little annoyed that the rep missed my point about *communication*. I have the patience of a stone as long as I know that something is actually being done, hate being left hanging with no info though.
