Some of my suggestions would be:
>Make Flip Cards free when flipped, make them able to be cast from hand for costWhy: If a flip card is free to use, people will actually fucking use them in their decks, for starter, which means 1/3 of the ENTIRE CARD POOL isn't literally, unironically worthless. This would also discourage people from running pure damage decks because one big hit would be a LOT of chances for your opponent to flip something nasty on you for free. Letting you cast them from hand would also be good because then you have to choose whether to use your energy on winning a fight or springing a trap. Sure, a card like Shadow Breath would then be run in every darkus deck to block hero decks but that's what TCGs are for. Outplaying your opponent
>But anon, there's lots of free flip cards that stop damage! You want people to be able to cast that for free from hand on big damage plays?Yes! If you saved a perfect stopper for the perfect time, you should be rewarded for it.
>But what if a deck is chock full of stoppers? You want them to be impervious to damage? That's a deck's choice. A wall, defensive deck with lots of damage stoppers won't have enough offensive options to deal damage back, in theory. And if it does, then it's a good deck. The only bad/broken deck is the one that has literally no response and the community should work together to find a counter play.
>Evo Cards should go underneath character cards and not in your deckWhy: Jesus christ, why would you do that? FREE EVOS? Isn't that broken?
No, it's not any more broken than fusions. Fusions are basically the evolution of the evolution mechanic. You stock up on energy, you pay the cost, you flip to fusion.
Evo cards shouldn't be any different because they're just a liability. Imagine you have one Dragonoid evolution card in your deck. You roll, lose, get big damage. Poof, Drago's evolution is gone. There goes your win condition. Scoop, go home.
