I don't hate it but I find the toon colours on the IDW mold a bit of a clash. Still a great figure though, I kinda want the Battletrap version as a G1esque Dropkick.

It's not bad, except for the two-tone fenders; I feel like they should have only made the front-facing part yellow. I do like all the different shades of green, though. I nabbed the "platinum" version because I'm a sucker for gold, but I still think Sandstorm is the best use of the mold.

Just picked up impactor from ross. Really like the figure and how he can swap his hand for a weapon, as well as do a gerwalk and reverse gerwalk mode.

I think it's kind of neat, though it needs a better head and paint on the arm disks. It looks like you can deploy the arm things in robot mode, so he can have arm-mounted swords or railguns. I like that the satellite thing on his butt looks like coattails, like a conductor might have.

He's still a movie toy and movie toys always look like shit but I don't know, he seems okay

The thing to actually get mad at here is that the stickers look like paper, which is cheap as fuck. Even the optional decals for LG-63 were printed on plastic.

My top two were already posted, but let me give props to pic related. It's a really simple mold that makes the most of what it has to work with. Even though one of the modes is essentially just a slab, it makes a really fun communications terminal or whatevs. He's a great soldier to toss in any squad.

I regret not finding Rumble, too. This mold is basically makes my case about how a single flaw, no matter how bad, can ever really ruin a fun toy. Those forearms are fucking horrid; literally just giant bricks, but the figure is still a blast.

The arm shape's weird, but the real problem is transforming them. Due to how much pressure is needed to bend them for device mode and back, they'll eventually destroy themselves. Airwave has this same problem, so it's hard to say how long they'll last.

Is SS86 going to do all the Dinobots? I really like this Grimlock, I'd be so happy if we got a full set of 5 decent Leader Dinobots.

I've currently got my Rumble in tablet mode hooked up to Airwave in vehicle mode to act like a medical bed with monitor, and Weirdwolf looks like a Zoid with COG on him.

I don't know if it's just stockholm syndrome or what, but I kind of don't hate Volcanicus. He's a lanky bastard but I can't pretend like I don't love the idea of a dinobot combiner. It's just a shame that Grimlock is such a weak link in particular, if only he was as good a torso-bot as Silverbolt. Still kind of cool though.

They CAN work (see: Hot Spot/Onslaught, some of the better 3P combiners) but on HasTak budgets they tend to fall a bit flat. Sure beats Zeta style pantsforming though.

Eh, I disagree. They're solid sure and they look fine aesthetically in a neutral pose, but if you move the legs in any way the aesthetic completely falls apart because they're basically molded to have fake hip joints.

This. I had an issue with a RM figure (one of the jets) and the pics hid that a part was completely broken. I argued in my case with ebay that the seller knew about the damage due to how the picture were taken and got my money back. I'm more careful about this sort of thing so it hasn't happened again.

I can only guess the molds were done in such a way that the entire body ended up white for some reason (hell, the BACK is molded pink, but not the chest), despite it making more sense for it to be cast in pink, then the other parts painted white and gray.

There’s also a third retool of the combat squad painted red and white for the Astro squad missile truck.

Micromasters are not going away they’re being parceled out into multipacks. Also we will be getting the remaining cassette bots Be it from hasbro or Takara.

The next line after Kingdom will have a good many retools and repaints of existing figures. Nothing is changing

I've had some success with pin joints. I have some disposable paint brushes that put the polish on and then use those to get in between where the two pieces meet and then wipe off the excess from the surface. With those, it's little more time consuming, might need to do it a few times to get the desired effect.

As far as I was aware the toy only had a tail gun with a missile as accessories. Which it did. He had the gun. I guess I could have moved eith no missile. I didnt realize an arm could have been missing because I didnt realize people amputate their toys when they have balljoints somehow.

Theres no way this guy wasnt being misleading by having it in beast mode only. But I dont know if the " looks complete I dunno lol" will make it harder to get my money back.

Also unfortunatly he didn't just say it was complete, he said 'it looks complete but I dont know' But the toy only had a tail gun with a missile which was there. And like I said it was taken only in beast mode. So the guy was either dumb or deceptive. Im kind of worried it'll ruin my case though.

Some of the earliest figures from SS are getting released again. Same toys. Same numbers on the box. They're going to be added to the DOTM and ROTF waves in 2021 to help fans get the older figures. It's more common for this to happen in the kid's lines, but we really feel it's a good idea for the SS line as well.

He's decent. Good size for a voyager, okay articulation for SS, no big QC issues that I know of. Neat transformation without feet hanging on the back, unlike some other SS figures. People were not happy with absence of the shield (which you can already buy from 3P), but otherwise he's good.

I got into Transformers way after G1, but looking back, I'm retroactively pissed that the style of the toys got left behind. Diaclone/Microman/et. al. were fantastic toylines with very deliberate aethetics that made the most of their simplicity, and every bot felt unique while also clearly being part of the whole. I especially love how the goofy sci-fi robo-decals were usually only revealed in robot mode; it really added some extra fun to the transformation gimmick.

I know that one anon who wants toy-inspired MPs agrees with me, at least.

01 '07 Movie Bumblebee will NOT the same as the original release. It will have the mold improvements of the Clunker BB

2022 is the 15th Anniversary of the 2007 Movie, so there's a great shot at releasing most of those specific SS toys again over that year. It will be a great way to lead up to the new movie that year.

THe SS05/32 Optimus mold is DEF coming back that year.

It's usually the opposite half the time. Siegescream's head was better than ER Screams. Megatron's head was better than the ER one too. The only ones that don't fall into this category are the Datsuns but even then Prowl's old head is better

Bad engineering, the leg panels need too much force to bend and they used a hard plastic for it. Some anons have reported having issues with the blue plastic stressing easily and the ankles being impossible to move for the artillery mode.
