That piece actually does exist but is very rare. I didn't get one with my copy of that figure either. I'm beginning to think that I may have only gotten it in an early run and that subsequent printings have not had it.

interesting I was wondering how many patterns that were to be but they don't seem to be that many. So those big four packs may be more useful for starting a collection and then two or single packs for when you're just trying to finish it.

Aye, I just got burned on consecutive doubles from 2 packs, think I'll stick to singles going forward. Seeing how there's 32 individual characters, you'd hope they would've divided it by 32/4 32/2 for the 4 and 2 packs respectively, but there seems to be a large amount of overlap.

I suggest we get a Google doc going to keep track of these pre-determined sets for the 4 and 2 packs.

There are 36, not 32.

Would be good to track the packs though we can't really do much with that info since they don't APPEAR to have any outside indication of their contents.

Since we can now confirm that both 2 and 4 packs are pre determined as to avoid dupes in their respective packs, does that mean these sets also follow a rarity?

Pack 2 was Sir Veilance and Prowler. Both sets had a green LED, and the second set had a female to female joint as a spare piece. Might have to pick up more of these

I’ve bought 5 of these and have been lucky enough to get no dupes. I think I’m done with them though. They’re fun, but I can’t justify spending the $ on dupes when they inevitably happen

4 packs seem the best for when you're starting out. After that you're better off with singles and 2 packs. If 4 packs were randomized, it would be worth it. But since they have a seeded combos, a single dupe pack wastes 20 bucks and 4 bots. With single packs, dupes only waste 5 bucks each.

I also just realized that giggles is apparently giant and walking on the sea floor, that makes this thing even creepier.
Its picture has the little paper hat boat floating on the surface of water in an ocean or lake, and that would explain the extended legs.

I kept all the trash that doesn't get torn up when opening these to use for my modeling. Its actually quite hard to find realistic trash bags for cheap, and these are almost perfectly to scale with my models.

I have some from a guy I bought but have an extra of, so I'll have to try using those, or the larger cardboard boxes. I kept those. I also keep leaving them in front of people's rooms to induce confusion as to why they have a tiny box of moldy milk all of a sudden. Keeps things interesting.

This thread is moving at a pretty decent clip so I don't see any real reason to merge at this time. We're also still one of the slowest moving boards so there's no real worry about "cluttering it up."

Got these guys. Really like the box dude, has a nice, menacing looking engine block for a head, and letting him peek out of the box is nice. Unfortunately my biggest dude turned out to be a pain in the ass to assemble, due to how tight the ball joint connections are, and I ended up breaking the ball joint for his head while stressing the one for his neck.

If we're all asking for replacements often enough, would that encourage them to fix their shit? I love these things, but fuck me if I've almost broken every part due to insane force required to connect some parts. One of my ovens broke because the sockets on the side, when I attempted to put a ball into it, it pushed the seem apart, breaking the whole oven and the moving part gimmick inside.

Rev is a bad combo of a head piece with a known weakness and a neck piece that is almost universally too tight. I got mine to work by very carefully working it into place but even then I can feel the flex on the thin plastic piece of the bottom of the head. It might not be a half bad idea to just crack that head open down the seam line and go in and glue a bit of plastic in there as a support strut directly above the peg.

Here's all the parts I have between 1 four pack and 2 two packs.

I really want to love these things, but I sat there for over an hour, and couldn't come up with anything I was happy with.

Worse yet, I ended up breaking my little motor when I put it on Giggles with a longer rod in his head.

Try just grabbing a handful of the larger parts and spreading them out on your desk. Fiddle with a configuration without attaching anything, just moving things around. Then, start attaching, building up what you can with the pieces you have.

Anyone try the clear nail polish work on the joints yet?

I've got another question though, what type of plastic do these toys use? Wanted to try Tamiya Cement to remove the seams but I'd need to know which is compatible with the plastic used.
