I've got a few mib kenner Batman's from batman returns. Not sure if they're worth anything. Don't think I care either, they're nice to own.
The downside is that they are in boxes so you can't see anything, but I have better batman toys.
The only other instances of not opening toys are ones I got as gifts or in a sale bundle that I just don't want

I have a super old Red Angela from McFarlane Toys that I never even touch and kept in climate controlled storage and the blister pack still came undone. No reason to feel guilt. Especially if it's something you actually want to play with.

I used to be an in box collector and over the last few years sold all the stuff I wouldn’t open and only started buying things in collector friendly packaging that I wouldn't feel guilty about opening.

Some of the things I kept that were in boxes I opened up - the main thing I felt was “why did I leave this thing in a box for a decade…what a waste of time when I could have enjoyed it”

Very glad I opened them.

I do have a few things things in blister packs and I carefully cut around the edge of the blister with a Stanley knife and slid out the trey, so it can all still be put back together.…mainly which is mainly because I'm a bit obsessive about the boxes, but at least I opened them.
