I remember me and my brother started our G.I. Joe collection when my Dad joined the ARMY in the mid 80's. My Mom at the time took my brother and myself to K-Mart, and we were able to pick out a G.I.Joe each. My 6 year old self wanted Leatherneck because he sorta looked like my dad, and that was what i pictured he would look like while he was still in basic training at Fort Sill.
I remember getting Croc Master later on while we lived in North Carolina, this was the first action figure I ever bought with my own money.
this picture brings back a lot of memories.
