Never had this happen but that's because he usually keeps them in their shipping boxes, because he had to wait months and also kept titan scorponok for me he needed to clear space, and even then normally he holds them for a week not months

you need to get a seal-able container(might be a tall order depending on the size of some of your dudes) and some 'activated charcoal'. put some figures in the container with some of the activated charcoal, try not to let them touch, and seal it closed real good. leave it alone for a bit(depends on the size of the thing and how bad it smells, probably the materials too) and hopefully it takes care of all of the smell

Mostly personal preference elevating Beast Wars but dammit I love it. Also missing the 2010/Gold box line under amazing because it gave us hits like Seaspray and Hubcap. Some toylines get dragged down by worse halves of the line(early Generations was great but the FoC line had a lot of bad figures)

Truly trash lines are stuff in the outskirts, like Fast Action Battlers(which still had some cool stuff) and Cyberverse which isn't even trying.

I like the coloring a bit more on the Siege version. The plastic on the ER is also a lot flimsier which makes his transformation a tad more difficult. Plus I don't like the partsforming. Prowl on the other hand feels a lot sturdier than his Siege counterpart and his transformation works a lot better imo.

Hastak and the toy industry in general used Polycarbonate or sometimes even Nylon for clear parts until the late-2000s/early-2010s when MABS (clear ABS) was getting commercialized. If you want to know for sure, look at packaging of Japanese stuff, they always list the types of plastics used.

honestly, I saw this coming, but I'm a lazy fatass who wasted his money in POTP shit and I lost her, now she's impossible to get, and even if Takara can re-release her Dazzlestrike will become something way more expensive, and also, you need that fucking set to complete a Siege line, at least Thundercracker was coming with Skywarp so you got a perfect excuse but now, the fembot crew is complete, also nobody cares about Greenlight beside (sadly) Transformers fans, so a mass production like the Seekers (people love them) is pretty difficult because siege/earthrise is OVER, and unlike Arcee, Greenlight isn't popular, I'll buy her the next week a guy from a FB group is selling her for 170$ without the flame effect because I don't want to be cucked the next year with 500$ prices

Hasbro knows about the scalpers but won't do anything about it because it benefits them more for them to be around so people buy their shit the moment it shows up on hasbropulse but they don't understand that not everyone can get the figures they want from just hasbropulse. I don't remember there being a line with so many fucking exclusives since WFC started almost all this line is overpriced exclusives nobody can find and by the time you can find it you're looking at a $20 figure going for $200 on ebay.

The main problem I'm seeing is that certain sites seem to have unlimited Pre-orders set up, while the amount of product they can get is fixed to X amount. Why they don't set them up so they stop accepting PO after a certain point is beyond me.

Most websites that are dedicated to collecting are actually already like that. Hasbro Pulse, Entertainment Earth, Dorksidetoys, BBTS all have pre-order windows only open as long as they have stock. Just today when Hasbro dropped the new J Jonah Jameson Marvel Legend, I pre-ordered from Pulse, completed my order, verified I got a confirmation email, and then linked my friend so he could purchase it as well. In the about 2 minutes it took me to place and confirm my order, it was already sold out.

I've only experienced pre-orders getting cancelled from stores that aren't dedicated to selling toys. Amazon, GameStop, Target, and Walmart are all prone to this. I'm still unsure if Walmart will actually fulfill my ER Bumblebee pre-order. We'll see...

I only got interested in Transformers again after Kingdom was announced Im praying they don't make all the cool beast wars redecos hard to get amazon or pulse exclusives. Theres not even that many options for repaints. But some repaints were my favourite characters as a kid, like Raptor Dinobot, and Id be pissed if they end up instantly scalped.

It was probably a combination of humidity and high temperatures. It sucks because there's not much I can do about it since any system I set up to prevent it would be cheap, but electricity in Puerto Rico costs way too much to keep it running year round.

They were mixed at worst. Both had some absolute gems though. FE Prime, Bulkhead, Starscream, and Cliffjumper, RiD Arcee and Vehicon. Plus there were plenty that were at least still really fun. It wasn't without stinkers too, like Frenzy, Knockout, or any Bumblebee but overall, neither line was bad.

Went and did a minor mod to the Netflix Lionizer mold. A perpedicular cut at the tabs for the lion head when it goes to sword mode, since I was worried the extra pressure could damage it eventually. Worked surprisingly well, and I'll probably do it for the second one I'll get in a few days. Btw, you guys know any figures that could use the Heatstroke and Heartburn BM? I'll have four of them, and I need to figure out who to give them to.

It's a good mold but I don't like that's just a clump of white and red.

For one, it's a genius idea that wouldn't take that much to replicate and uses relatively cheap figures, for me at least; on the other side, I had already started working on a Fangry that uses the Twinferno mold as the base and would be closer to the G1 toy, and I really don't like the idea that I already merked another figure trying to flesh out a concept for a custom.

I'd say Universe 08 was fine if you ignore the absolute clusterfucks that are Hot Shot and Cheetor, those are by far some of the worst figures ever.
Tank Galvatron is unfortunate because you can tell that one was a downsized Voyager. He could have been great.

That's stretching it. Not him but it's shit like that that bugs me about TFs. Just a big chunk of the alt mode that they couldn't incorporate into the robot mode so they pull it off and put a couple of cuts and joints into it and pretend it's a "shield" or some kind of unwieldy weapon of some sort. Really, it always just looks like a useless chunk of random plastic. Classics Prime's roof gun is another good example, or Classics Grimlock's tail. More current examples would be ER Ironhide/Ratchet's roof shield.

Honestly, size doesn't really matter, and I like these smaller more dense leaders then the big but kinda flimsy ones we got during the Prime Wars trilogy.

Toys used to be "time filler" entertainment, but with three major video game consoles, computer games, VR games, youtube, twitch, etc now there's WAY more stuff to do than time to do it in. Toys just don't sell the same way they used to.

Nope. RID Warriors and especially the Cyberverse "Deluxe" figures were sold a few dollars cheaper. Now the the BAF Cyberverse Deluxes are the same price as Siege/Studio Deluxes, and are lower quality, but that's mainly because resources are dedicated towards Siege/Earthrise (the "main" line in Hasbro's eyes) and Studio. Frankly, Hasbro needs to consolidate things, and not try and juggle at least 3 different toylines, especially when one of them has about a dozen sidelines and crap going on.

There was a short period where it seemed like they were going to make "Generations" the catchall for collectors figures when they sold a few AOE toys under that label.

Instead of just making Generations and SS into two different G1 lines and then having the weird hybrid lines for the kid's show, they should just make SS the catchall for accurate stuff from media. Studio Series could then carry your movie toys, your Animated revivals, your good versions of Cyberverse/RID characters, and stuff like that. You'd get way less of them, but they don't really sell that well anyway.

Looks nice when it works but they tend to jam more often than not. The more complicated ones with more parts and articulation will jam more, and the more you play with it, the more it jams as the mechanisms wear out. If you diddled in some of the new bakugan, you'd quickly notice how the Ultras are just annoying to transform compared to the Basics.

I finally got the IH/Prowl set. They are pretty good, IH defiantly could use some reprolabels. The roof shield is actually pretty cool, and a lot more solid than I had assumed. Prowl has these small molded in tabs at the back of the roof, but they don't really do anything for my copy, as it already keeps together well. Also IH's gun has a little bit of gunmetal paint on it, something you can't see in any pictures.

Good apart from the breakage issue on the pegs holding the crane beam in vehicle mode. They're hollow so with Hasbro's qc tollerances you can get one that requires more force to detach than the thin plastic holding it can withstand.

I've had Amazon dispatch stuff like this before, not for a long time, but it sucks when it does happen. As someone who worked gift retail for a time it's basically unthinkable that you'd do it as a company (because you're just inviting a shitton of complaints from people buying items as gifts), but I guess Amazon can be Amazon.

I remember when catalogue retailers used to do it, just stick big ugly labels on boxes that you needed to try and remove to make it an acceptable gift.
