Mine are usually one of two types of dreams:
1) Find amazing toys, but toy store is closing so have to hurry to check out and find the toys you want to buy
2) Don't find the toy you are looking for, spending the rest of the time searching through lots of toys
Usually they are all made up toys too, or look similar to toys that really exist. Oh my gosh, I still remember this really cool kaiju vinyl toy that was like a mix of Gamera and one of the skeletal Ultraman kaijus. It was radical looking.

I do Gundam, other franchise and have a few military models. Modeling involves the initial out of box build, painting, detailing, custom part making, kitbashing all to whatever degree you choose.

I personally airbrush paint, kitbash, have minor scratch building expereince and so on. Just the other day I learned to install magnets into the kit for the first time to attach parts without pegs so no contact is needed. It can make painting easier, and add strength to connections. Pic related, I mainly hang in the /m/ gunpla thread and visit the /toy/ one too.

I was just thinking of this exact topic.

But more in the line of, I feel like I’m just waiting around for the figures I want to be released so my collection can be complete.

I’ve got an obsessively maintained spreadsheet full of lists and images of everything I have and everything I want to get, I think I spend more time curating this spreadsheet then I do with my actual collection.
