Do you store your figures, accessories, and boxes, or do you display your whole collection at once? What do you do to stay organized?

I used to display my whole collection at once, but now I rotate displays. I throw away boxes because they take up too much space and I'm selective about what I buy, so I don't care about the resale value (I've only sold a few figures in several years, mostly ones that turned out worse than anyone expected or ones that got updated in reissues).

I use two of the uline containers from the OP for accessories, and I print little tags to stick on the front of each compartment so I can quickly find a character's accessories.

For storing figures, I put them in archival quality bags and store them inside stackable stemware containers. The cardboard dividers are the perfect size to store around three 1/12 figures each, or one larger character.

All of this fits into a very small closet where I keep all collection-related stuff. I rotate displays into new scenes/dioramas whenever I get tired of the old setups or when I get new figures.

If I don't display something for a long time (around a year), I consider selling it. That doesn't happen too often, but it happens.

I store my accessories in tack boxes, I would love something like what you posted. As far as figures, most of my toys are on display, but I do have some stored away. Mostly MCU Marvel Legends, that I'd love to make a big display for if I had the room. One day. I also have a bunch of X-Men and some Avengers related characters stored away because my current displays are based off some comic covers. I think pretty soon I'm going to re-do my X-Men display to include more team members. I store domestic figures in plastic totes. I'm careful to arrange bigger thicker, characters on the bottom and thinner more fragile characters on top of those. I haven't had too much trouble with paint transfer so I'm not super concerned about that. As for Import figures, I store those in the original packaging, but I don't think I have any imports stored away at the moment.

I've been wanting to start rotating figures are well and putting some into storage since stuff is getting cramped but I had no idea what to put them on so thanks for this anon, I'll try to get some of these cases.

The container from the OP is the uline "plastic parts container." They have a bunch of different sizes and arrangements. You can also buy little dividers for the individual compartments (I can fit two characters per compartment for most figures, unless it's something like the Figuarts Super Buu where he has huge heads). They aren't too bad in price, I got two of the ones in the OP for $40 each.

Just be sure to measure your figures and compare them to the container you're looking at, the one I have is good for figuarts but the compartments might be too little for something like Storm Collectibles.

Most of my stuff falls between figuarts size to Super7 Ultimates size, the few bigger figures I have like Storm or Monsterarts I'll get them their own seperate container.

every figure gets a plastic bag, every plastic bag goes in a cardboard box

stuff like figma stands go into a clear bin inside the box

it's worked out okay for me so far

oh yeah, I have tiny stackable plastic bins specifically for stands and stand arms. I used to have them all in one bigger bin but I got sick of trying to remember which stand arms went with which stands so now I have them separated by company

im fortunate to live near a Container Store. i previously owned six stackable sterilite boxes that are sturdy, but they dont make that specific model anymore. i have like 4 of the large ones to fit my larger toys this time.

I got the "LDPE Clear Zip Bags, 4 Mil" from ClearBags in two different sizes (one for standard 1/12 figures and one for oversized figures). I used them because they let you buy them in quantities of a hundred instead of a thousand (a common minimum order). it only cost like $25 shipped for all the bags i'll ever need

my bad, uline was just the site i used. akro mils is the manufacturer so those are the same thing. some reviews on amazon complained about them showing up dusty and while mine did, all i had to do was wipe it off so i dont know why it bothered them so much

I have bigger Tote boxes and some even larger Home Depot hinged boxes too, from when i was younger.

I mainly buy ammo cans and ammo boxes now, since they all stack incredibly well, and because of their small size, they can fit anywhere.
i have a couple dozen of these cans, plus some other larger ammo boxes.

I had a few storage bins like OP, but because it's not sealed, shit can get dusty inside. I used to store my paints in them, but i got myself a desk and created organizers for the drawers to just lift entire trays out that also stack.
