>>8574044Also the show irreparably damaged She-Ra as a brand, by courting the new audience demographic, when I feel fairly certain it was initially intended to be aimed at children, before Noelle decided to make it a hodgepodge rip-off of Steven Universe and Legend of Korra. You could probably never do a new She-Ra series without mentioning her being a lesbian or in a relationship with her enemy Catra. I also find the obsession by the twitter fans with Catra to be humorous, because the only reason they obsess over her, is because she was the only attractively designed character when all the others were purposely made ugly. Her design isn't even original-- it's a shit out cardboard cut-out anime catgirl. Her design, much like the show has nothing original or good going for it.
She like this show(I'm generalizing) are why the toy industry sucked for so many years, as adults attempted to shit toys down the throats of children that nobody wanted:
>Forces of Destiny Dolls>Most anything Star Wars Disney related(I know I cheated naming Star Wars again, it was just too easy tho)>Ghostbusters 2016The show falls into that same woke category that kids just don't give a fuck about.
I will say the Origins She-Ra gives me hope, seeing She-Ra go back to basics on account of the fact that it's Mattel handling She-Ra and not some college aged lesbian who was never familiar with the source material, and changed it to cater to her own tastes.
