They charge everything the moment you make your order. If you got an order number it should mean you paid it all back then. Shipping was included in the order, so no need to do anything else unless you change address and need to notify them.
Just have some cash ready for when the postman arrives if you need to pay customs (or whatever way your courier has to charge you for customs; in my country it's typically the postman himself).

you know, 4H could make a really tall skeleton by just extending the limbs and torso of a regular skeleton, the only tooling it'd need is to expand the length. A bulky skeleton giant with thicc bones would look silly. It could stand out from the other orges and be a really tall lanky giant.

The line already has tons of anthros though, if anything it's more that they feel a Lizardman would need entirely new parts or something.

I agree that it's crazy they haven't made any yet though, just a simple collar piece like they used on the Minotaurs/Catmen would be enough to get that transition from lizard head to bare body imo.

He's kind of a tree but shaped like some sort of generic forest animal. At first glance he comes off as an anthro character with the snout and antlers and you have to look really close to see he's actually made of tree bark. It's a really nice concept and I hope he sees a new figure as that head on new parts would look fantastic.

Most Marvel Legends figure's heads don't even fit on other Marvel Legends bodies.

Hell, sometimes alt heads don't even fit on the figure they come with. A lot of people broke their Mystique neck peg when they tried to pop the Rogue head she came with on her, and the Wolfsbane and Karma heads don't want to go onto my Dani Moonstar.

I think most people just Dremel down either the head hole or the neck peg to fit.

The human body? Yes, with a couple things to have in mind:
-By default it is compatible with 1.0 bodies waist joint (regular male)
-Even though it uses the regular connection, the human body it uses is a bit larger than usual because the horse body is huge; a regular male human will connect but it will look smallish.
-Really, the horse is fuckhuge. Carefully think the size of whatever you want to put in.

That's around 7", kinda like Mythic Legions or marginally bigger, right? Mythic Legions are a bit over 6.5". It may work, but just keep in mind that it's not going to be your typical 7 foot tall centauress with a proportionately small horse body but more like 9 feet tall at least with a full sized horse body.

Same. I think the longest I had to wait was on a bone wing I got that was assembled wrong, that took a month for them to get more from the factory. But still, they've always, always helped me out when I needed it.

I love how they're finally making an effort to incorporate weapon storage into the figures. The sword straps are cute and all, but get boring fast and make for terrible belts. But with the barding loops on the hose saddles and the loops on the new belts, we should really be able to deck out these figures.

The big boys are usually easier to pick up then the basic figures. The higher price points usually reduce demand, so getting the horses from this wave may not be as impossible as getting other figures from the in stock sale.

The game might be good. An XCOM/Fire Emblem or HOMM clone is not exactly hard to make on a small budget if you have an idea of what you are doing, and they'd have much of the character model assets done already.

A pity you didn't get into the line 2-3 months ago; we just had a huge ass stock sale where you had a very slim chance of getting the older figures, and a pretty darn good chance of getting most of the newer ones for base cost.

I totally understand being turned off the long wait times for preorders. Considering how huge this wave is, I'd think there's going to be plenty of extras for the stock sale.

If you go to the bottom of the front page of Store Horsemen (https://store-horsemen.myshopify.com/) You'll notice that we're now including production and shipping updates there. There you'll notice that Mythic Legions: All-Stars 3 has FINALLY left the factory, and we're expecting to get it here and begin shipping from the Store Horsemen warehouse on January 2021! So even though we weren't able to get those out to all of you by Christmas as we'd hoped, the pandemic can't completely stop us and hopefully that'll be just one of the bright spots for all Legionnaires throughout 2021.

Considering how smoothly exodus went, site wise, I'd say they're going to stick with the current online store for the foreseeable future. I was quite happy with it, and about the only downside was the people who only saw the Advent of Decay stuff displayed instead of every item. Still don't understand how that happened.

As for shipping, if it's in house that's good news for everyone. They don't have to middleman with Megalopolis, and if you take into account that they literally had 1 guy shipping everything out, and he was able to get most of it out within a month, and now that there's a dedicated team, it should run even smoother.

Moved out recently and managed to get a preorder for the Helphyre Goblin due for January (in theory, COVID permitting). If I like him enough I might get some other gobbos too; checked eBay and whilst they're not exactly cheap they are obtainable at the very least. Should I make the rarer ones a priority? I'll point out that the Helphyre Goblin is an offshoot of the Bog Goblin; both of these are 1.0 body figures, and basically are dwarfs with frog heads. (The Helphyre Goblin having a brand new body, hands, and feet)

The more classic looking goblins (and Thistlethorn) are 2.0 bodies, with the exception of Gonxx; who also has the mostly the same parts as the Bog Goblin.

If you're lucky, BBTS might still have some goblins available by the time you get your preorder in. Right now they have 8 different ones in stock or up for preorder.

The appeal is that they are more or less generic heroic fantasy archetypes that we like, with no further pretensions, overdesign or other shit. I'm particularly fond that they are reminiscent of 80-90's fantasy movies, books, tabletop game manuals and video games as opposed to MMORPG garbage designs.

Specifically for the half-naked female Mythic Legions figures you're interested on I have to say that they look much better in person than they do in pictures. They don't have super-chiseled muscles, very large breasts or other details that pop out in pictures, but when you look at them in 3D in front of you you see that the muscle and fat masses are where they should be and they have a good deal of thiccness to them. I was very skeptical when I ordered Jjuno compared to other ML characters because her body looked bland, but it was my greatest surprise when I got her and now she's one of my favorite figures in the line.

It's not realistic, but it strikes a good balance or realism and rule of cool. They may have some horns and spikes here and there and oversized pauldrons (as for weapons you can always discard the ones you don't like), but other than that the armors are reasonable and they don't go full Korean MMO levels of redard.

A simple toy line of stock fantasy characters that isn't a license brand.
They can easily be either a horde of soldiers; or with a little love, your own personal OC donutsteel. The ability to part swap makes that very easy even if you don't feel like giving them a custom paint job.

The quality is pretty darn good.

They may not have as many joints as modern hasbro figures, but sometimes Marvel Legends and Black Series figures barely has as much range of movement of Mythic Legions; whereas Legions, have the exact same amount across each body type.

I respectfully disagree with this statement, Figma are WOEFULLY smaller than the Legions. I will admit, Figma Gut's accessories can transfer well to ML figures, but Guts as a character is supposed to be a mountain of a man, and his Figmas are childlike compared to even the basic Legions.

Imo, the best figures to fit with the Legions are the MotuC/Thundercats stuff, old McFarlane later Spawn figures and especially the Toybiz LotR line of figures. They may not all match up thematically or style wise, but at least they all have similar heights and proportions.

Your best bet to get these things is the Pre-order windows. It may be a long wait (a year for new mold stuff normally) but it's worth it to guarantee you actually get what you're after. In stock sales can be very frantic and many figures sell out in seconds while re-runs are limited and rare and have limited slots for an increasingly large roster of figures to fight over.

If you can wait a while, we should be getting a stock sale for All Stars 3, Arethyr, and the skull horse ogres in this coming spring-early summer.

If you want stuff right now, BBTS has a lot in stock, and is the best place to get any figures from Advent of Decay, Soul Spiller, All Stars 2, Wasteland, or Siege waves.

Personally, I find $40-$50 a bit much for these, but if there's a character you really like, it's still better than ebay.
The Elf, Vampire, Cavern Dwarf, & Templar Knight Legion Builders feel like they have the best value, in terms of accessory count, and how far the minimal paint details go on the figures.

don't know about that, but the site worked wonderfully compared to the old old one from the Advent of Decay, All Stars 2 Soul Spiller stock sale.

One downside is that the site doesn't keep your card info, so you gotta input that at checkout.
Also somehow some people only ever saw the Advent of Decay items for Exodus, and didn't even know about all the old stuff until it was sold out.

Got Thwikk in. He's pretty cool, not quite as good as Thumpp, but still nice. I love his smug face, and the fact the crossbow can actually be loaded up with a bolt is awesome (even if the bolt feels very delicate). Getting him to carry all his weapons on him was a pain but that could be my autism. With his sword, big shield and crossbow he gives me like goblin Link (gobLink?) vibes. He also came with like 3 different wing adapters for some reason.
I have the Helphyre goblin on pre-order from a UK store, but I'm already contemplating my next gobbo from eBay. Tempted by Gonxx or No'glin.

Yeah the "bolt" is just a normal arrow for a bow, they haven't made a proper bolt yet.

Gonxx uses a 1.0 dwarf body with a special neck part to attach the 2.0 head on. If you get him you'd have a totally different body than the two you already have. I really like King No'glin's stump crown, and his gold armor is pretty slick looking.

You'd enjoy either I'd say.

A few of their initial run figures were very much inspired by and similar to old school D&D figures. Figures like Sir Gideon, Skapular, Thord and others were based on D&D characters like Strongheart and such. The original Barbarian builder was more or less a build-a Warduke before they released Raygorr who also shares some Warduke-like features.

I'm getting most of the wave now, including the Moose and Vamp Rider. Hell, this wave is more or less kickstarting my entire Vampire faction that I've been trying to avoid making. The only figures I really want but am passing on are the Centaur and Vamp Imp, but I'm taking the chance that the higher priced figures will be easier to pick up during the instock sale.

This wave is a fantastic starting point for people new to the line. I initially got Raygorr because he was a charity figure designed as an homage to a long time fan of the 4H who died young and the proceeds went to help his family. But as a figure, I find him to actually be one of my favorites because he's very striking. They're all long time professionals in the toy industry and do work for almost every other major toy company, so they've never really hurt for money. This line is more of a life's goal passion project for them, as they get to make a line of original IP fantasy figures that no other company has come close to releasing.

It's about the aesthetic. I want things to fit the a coherent logic to make it somewhat believable. Having Gorgo using mass produced helmet to Raygorr, Ignatius, Blood Knight, etc. with variants of different ear headress is not believable. It is mold reuse to save money and sell more SKUs.

As for Gorgo's helmet, I do agree he really needs a more unique figure and especially head. But I more or less headcannon'd him into having a generic helmet because he was at one point a standard knight and thus had his standard helmet. Before he was the evil leader of the Arethyr's hordes, he was a member of the good guy Eathyron faction. As such he would have a similar helmet to other soldiers as it's the armor he was wearing when he died and then made his deal with the devil. The genericness of his helmet gives him a more Darth Vader-ish "leads from the front" type of villainous commander, where at his core he's still a warrior and has no problem getting into the fray at the spearhead of his raging hordes.

Or at least that's my headcanon of him.

You can find them on ebay but they are not cheap.

The Black Knight is popular and has not been reissued so chances are they reissue it as part of their plans to make legion builders more available or they make a new, very similar figure.

Some of the others have seen reissues at some point, making further ones more unlikely, but the "new, very similar figure" part goes for a lot of them. It does not appear that they'll stop doing knights, skeletons or orcs in the near future, and honestly any of them is just as good as the previous. I would personally not overpay for any past releases.

I used to long for Asterionn, but I think I'd now ignore it and only buy a minotaur on the bigger, ogre-sized body. There is artwork of such a possible hairy Yak-like ogre-sized minotaur.

While I fully think a video game is probably the *worst* form of tie in media they could be engaging in regarding this franchise (are mini-comics really that hard to make?) if it results in new, cool figures, I'm all in. The Orc Builders already look fun, the Elf Builder will hopefully be good and maybe we'll see a Skeleton Builder or something or maybe even actual Legion Builders.

I'm curious how their "private crowdfunding" system will work and it's interesting they're not going through Kickstarter for this. Guess they wanna avoid paying fees, but they'll have to make sure everything runs perfect for this or it'll be a huge mess. Games especially are hard to crowd fund properly as so many more problems can pop up in development as opposed to making action figures.

The problem I'll likely have is that I like specific color schemes and such. So for example, even though another knight figure may be very similar to the Black Knight, I won't be interested in that figure because I like the black armor, not the silver armor. That sort of thing. Hopefully this doesn't end up biting me in the ass, lol.

The orcs are definitely the better sets.
The elves feel like they were slapped together with left over parts, and the overall colors don't look as good as the plain old legion builder or Silverhorn Sentry.

Green Jjuno feels like an inspired reuse, while the female elf just gets a random templar helmet, instead of giving us dark and green skinned repaints of other female elf heads.

Wish I knew what the deluxe legion builder wave was going to have. Don't know if I should bother with any of these or not.

I'm in this for the toys first and foremost, I don't give a crap about their lore, their story, their "brand" or any of that stuff. I can make up most of that stuff myself. But the 4H do some good toys and I'm all over that, this game though...well it has trainwreck written all over it.

As for what the figures come with, it's actually listed in their main site. But because that crowdfunder page is all sorts of ass, they barely even show off the figures.

They set a goal of 100k over the course of 14 days. If it was on kickstarter they would probably hit that goal no problem but with their own one I cant help but feel it'll dwindle and not achieve the goal, especially in such a small timeframe.
However, it has already hit 11k or so

I agree with you on the elves. While the base figures look fine, the extra parts seem like an afterthought. Hooded heads but no capes. The goblin armour, sugerloaf helmet and female tabard torso feel like they've been thrown in because they didn't have any other parts.
And the full face elf helm seem to be the same colour in both packs, and seem to have dark olive skin tone ears on both.
Pretty pisspoor in my opinion.

Who is even making the game? $30 is very expensive for an indie game with no credentials. If I recall well Subverse was half that price and at least featured a proven team of animators.

It already is. People are already being charged with a preauth when 4H said you wouldn't be charged until the 26th.
In my experience, no other crowd funding platform I have used charges you until the campaign is over and funding has been achieved.

Great Hall Game Studios. Who I have never heard of. Nor can I find anything about video games they have worked on anywhere apart from the interview with them on the Sourcehorsemen website. The only thing I can find is this website, which only has something about a D&D campaign Kickstarter from over a year ago. No about page or company history. And they havent updated their Facebook page since that campaign. That's if this is even the same company.

I've got a bad feeling about this. I backed both Legions kickstarters, but this is probably the worst run crowdfunding op they have done so far. There are too many unanswered questions, such as how big the cloth map add on is, or what happens if the campaign is not funded, especially since they are already charging people. I'm probably only going in for the orcs, and only once the funding goal has been reached.

The strap piece across the chest is hobbycraft leather lacing. The shoulder part, along with the belt as a whole (and the Axe attached to the back of it) came from Diamond Selects Van Helsing. The figure itself is an oversized, super stiff, awkwardly articulated mess, but his accessories are pretty sweet. He also comes with a kick ass scimitar, a blunderbuss and a flintlock pistol. The belt had to be cut off and trimmed, but with a bit of work it fits on legions very well.

As for the Lantern, I can't say for sure where it's from, I found it at work. Though I assume it a model train scenery piece. It's supposed to be a street lamp, but I drilled a hole in the top, added a ring, stuck a bit of the blue flame effects inside it and gave it a quick copper wash.

I can't help but feel they have a weird "support local" mentality which, while nice, doesn't translate well to video games.
I'm sure there would have been developers with some strategy titles under their belt that would've been keen to try out a tie-in game.

Game dev here. Yes it will be. Making a game at the scope they’ve proposed costs millions, unless there’s people working for free, but then the cost is time and unprofessional expertise. They also tied their Kickstarter goals to content that doesn’t scale well with the additional money from stretch goals in a way that makes it clear they dont understand the production process. This will be the death of the company.
