Back in the Anthro Continent, Scar's firey rule of the Pridelands has extended towards further cities and into Wild Watch territory. Despite the heroes' best efforts to sweep away the clashing elements of the Chaos Crystals, King Scar's own adaptive use of the Fire crystal has outmatched their Water crystal augmentations and are pushed away from headquarters.
Using his telepathic connections with other crystals, Knuckles is able to enlist help of some other available heroes. By the time they arrive, however, a large portion of the continent is already covered in fire. Joining forces with the Wild Watch, they are able to confront King Scar, but noticed that his own army has grown as well.
