And I knew we weren't getting the big goofy mechanical arm and launcher, but at least a snap-on chestplate to homage the old toy would have been nice.
Lastly, Hasbro's pale silver plastic that kills all visible detail is fucking garbage. Look at how much better Toy Biz's silver plastic on the cyborg arm looks. It doesn't have that weird almost semi-translucent look to it, and manages deep shadows as well as highlights.

Rogue's lipstick actually looked good on almost all of them but the black reco on her suit was really sloppy on a lot of the figures and most had small black marks on her face. If you have your phone, show them the item page with it on Target's website where it says it's in stock. They'll send a CS rep or call the department and make them get it. Target doesn't want you to go to another store.
If the CS rep won't help you, ask to talk to the manager. They WILL help you. The last thing Target corporate wants to see is bad reviews or reports. Corporate image is HUGE to Target. I suggest you call the store and complain to the manager. They worked under Marvel, a multi-media company, so their budget wasn't scrutinized and profit margins weren't extremely important. They wanted to stand out against everyone out there, so they spent a little more for it.
Whereas a company like Hasbro basically only makes toys, so everything is under close watch and shit MUST get cheaper... or rather, profits MUST grow every year.
If Hasbro were to branch out more into making media, their toylines wouldn't be as hard pressed to to be under budget, because it would be the media that MUST grow instead. More media = more products to sell. If they only license shit, then budget will still be scrutnized more.
This is probably why the GI Joe line came ladenedededed with accessories, while Marvel shit did not.
The new GI Joe line is harder to comment on, because it's so new, and we don't know if they'll give it more bodies to work with or if they'll come with more accessories... or anything more in the first place.

Scored my Spideys from Target and a Hoth Trooper as my freebie. Unfortunately they didn't have any other Legends I wanted but I heard good things about the this guy. Interestingly enough each Spidey figure had a whole row of the display for themselves, meaning there were easily 12 or more of each Spider-Man. The remaining two sections on the display were filled with Gambit and Storm, no Rogue. I had a lol at that because I already have the first release and have no reason to clamor for the new one, same with Gambit and Storm, plus I don't like the lighter trenchcoat with the new Gambit even if he has a better head. >>8599331 >>8599333 Don't worry about missing it. This box set was dog shit. Angels wings were brittle, iceman is an ugly yellowed plastic, and Beast had terrible articulation. The yellow paint on the blue plastic was awful as well. You're better off waiting for a redo. It's not out of the realm of possibilities the way they're doing X-Men releases

>>8589720 I worked as a federal agent for 40 years until I retired, I was part of a project called "Nolite Mirari Mentem Imperium" or short NMMI, this project was developed after the
50s,the plan was to work with Hollywood and make movies that will dumb down the masses, they would contain subliminal messages. When Marvel Comics began their work I went there and made a deal with them, the comics would work as the catalyst for what we call "The Grand Purpose", TGP is the total control of the population via media. We made sure that in the 2000s Marvel movies based on the comics will be used in our way, to control people and it worked. Since we started the MCU 10 years ago the IQ of people has declined, we created a mass of zombies, of fighters for our cause. By 2030 majority of the world will be in our influence. This plan was thought by the greatest minds of all time, we knew it will succeed and it works. Why I tell you this now? Because I was wrong, I worked 40 years for this cause that brought me pain, I now understand how wrong I was...the things I had to do to make this are the worst a human could do. Forgive me
