>>8617063>maybe only gaining the ability to breathe radiation. But Minilla can also breathe radiation, despite not being exposed to an atom bomb, and having smooth skin. There's not much lore consistency in the Godzilla/Toho universe, because they just made things up as they went along. I would have liked to see the Legendary Godzilla with rough skin instead of scales, but the main problem I have with him is that his head seems incredibly small. I know this is done to make his body look bulkier (like in the Heisei movies from 1989-1995), but I think it hinders his ability to emote. He just doesn't seem like a naturally-occurring carnivorous organism to have a head and mouth that small compared to a body that large. Obviously, this sort of thing was excusable 25-30 years ago, but if Legendary was going for "realism," you would think this would be a cause for concern. The only dinosaurs we know that had particularly small heads for their body size were Sauropods and Stegosaurs, which were both herbivorous. All the carnivorous dinosaurs, like Tyrannosaurus Rex, had comparatively large heads and jaws.
