Articulation is good, if you’ve see a TBleague body you know what to expect. The body is very flexible but the main limitation when posing is that the ankles don’t have much range.

Not many accessories, aside from outfit elements just an axe, sword and shield. I wish the eagle on the shield was painted black, otherwise the accessories look good.

I actually emailed them once, TBLeague I mean, and they said they had no plans to make Conan lmao, and it makes sense, I'm guessing if that was part of their license they would've already made him in 1/6 as well.

Tony Mei also said he's not making it for 1/12 even though his 1/6 Conan is a fucking masterpiece.

Hopully TBLeague eventually makes him, or at least Jaguar God or something.

The license is probably more expensive/harder to get. I did order the Mezco but the size difference is too big to have them together. Hopefully some third party makes a head/clothes/accessories set for the TBLeague body.

It's pretty funny, but this just makes me want the original Gans Boy. Then I remember that those long antennae and such are not removable and fragile, and it makes me so anxious that I know it's a good thing I didn't buy it.

its nice that the articulated fingers aren't an improvement for no reason (which would be fine if they were, articulated fingers are cool); there's actually a bunch of accessories where having articulated fingers is useful. this toy is gonna be so much fun.

yeah i do definitely keep my original gans boy in stable poses. one of the antennae is soft plastic, but two are fragile hard plastic. luckily he has big boots, and I keep the big accessory he came with in his hands and use that to keep him stable.

for this upcoming one since he has shoes instead of huge boots i'll probably always use bluetack or a stand. if he fell and the antennae snapped they'd probably be easy to glue back on, but i dont wanna risk it. definitely more careful with these guys than my other toys

If you mean the standard TBL bodies without the anime heads, then yes, they are VERY realistic - proportions and otherwise. I don't know about the ones that come with the anime heads, but it looks like they have longer necks maybe.

All silicone will degrade over time, but so will plastic figures. The newer TB League bodies will likely last you at least ten years, as long as you take care of them. And by that, I mean you just have to clean them when they get dirty and wash your hands before you touch them. But honestly, you should probably do that with any figures. I've only ever heard complaints about the elbows tearing, but that won't happen if you try not to leave the elbows bent at sharp angles for more than 48 hours

While I have heard of these in passing usually from the fwoosh weeklies I never bothered looking deeper until this thread. How good is the quality on the 1/12? Are there companies that are “reliable” with quality?

Different companies have different quality. DamToys are consistently great, accessories, cloth goods, articulation. TB League are very good, great articulation, variable cloth goods, but silicone. Mezco vary - mid-to-good articulation, great build quality, great cloth goods, excellent amount of accessories.

I like all my Mezco, but I wish the articulation was better. The accessories I'm very happy with. My DamToys are superb though.

Well, also there are such folks as Limtoys. Their Venom Snake was really nice.
Got the S++, no regrets.
POed their Last of Us figs and RE2 Leon.
Vtoys are legit as well. But ordering their stuff is a pain in the ass.

Yeah VToys are so hard to get. I managed to find three retailers for Robin, but one was the actual VToys website and one of the others was Chinese only.

Also want to add that Quiccs is about to release a figure in 1/12 for the first time through Devil Toys. Not sure when it's coming out though. I also desperately want a 1/12 War of Order figure, but so far they only come in 1/6 and 1/18.

Yes. I have Solomon Plan and he is really fucking cool. Excellent articulation, accessories are great, clothing is really well tailored, especially the coat, he feels good to play with and the sculpt and paint are tits. I'm really happy I got him and hope they make more like that. I find it hard to get decent sci-fi army dudes, so he ticked every box.

Some extra details:
- the gun has a foldable stock and removable clip
- the sword fits perfectly in the scabbard
- the scabbard bandolier has a fully adjustable strap and working clip
- ankle articulation suffers from high boots, but there is enough to pose him well and his balance is good
- coat is wired on both sides and the hood sits well
- the vest is easily removable and fairly easy to put on, he has a black lycra suit underneath that stretches well and has his own personalised logo which mimics the DamToys logo with eyes and horns
- nothing on the vest comes off and the pistol is for aesthetics only

I don' suppose any of you Beelbros has a figma? I missed out on the Little Armory Vector CRB, and I wouldn't mind grabbing Beel's. I had pretty good compatibility between Damtoys' Vietnam era hardware and figma, I'd like to get an idea if the Vector would work, too.
