One thing I noticed with the virtual event is that the release dates for some figures are different.
Catwoman's now April instead of March
Hush is July 2021
Endgame Cap was August 2021 but here it says May 2021
Endgame Iron Man is August 2021

Same here really. WandaVision, Multiverse of Madness, and Moon Knight are really the only upcoming things I'm actually looking forward to. Spider-Man 3 sounds like too much of an absolute clusterfuck if even a fraction of the current rumors are true, and the other shows don't really do anything for me.

Even if DD doesn't get a movie of his own, having Cox appear in SOMETHING outside Netflix would make me happy. He was too damn good in the role just to dump him.

I love the DKR Batman that just came out too. This sculpt just blows me away, captures the Frank Miller batman so perfectly, but looks even better in 3 dimensions than on the page somehow. I hope they do DKR Superman and maybe one of the mutant gang members.

I just got the Mafex Pennywise on Amazon for like $40.

My first Mafex. It kills me how easy the arms and torso joints pop out so easily but other than that great figure. I would never pay the hundred plus dollars most places ask for though, that's fucking nuts.

I'm bummed that 90% of Mafex seem to be superhero/comic book stuff.

This is a good examply of why neck joints are useless. Average people don't overextend their neck on a daily basis, and other than looking down most people only look left and right so there should just be a swivel and no ball joints.

They sculpted his torso pretty long so it won’t crunch as far back and forward as some people would like. No QC issues at all it feels like it’s one of their better figures, feels solid and the body is actually molded in red and the black is painted really well. The joints are also very strong no looseness so far. The head is alittle big especially the unmasked head, but I’ll never use the unmasked head so idc. biggest issue I have is the open mouth I showed it to my wife and the first thing she said is it looks like he has a mouth full of gum

Yeah the new carnage is definitely one of the better MLs we've ever gotten between the texturing and the black somehow being clean when hasbro manages to fuck up the simplest lines on every other paint job. The mafex one obviously does look more like 90's carnage but I think for an edgelord like carnage the updated styling looks better.

Real talk, I've been a huge Yamaguchi fan since like 2006 and adore most of his figures, but i couldn't really get down with this one. While certainly fun-looking, I thought the design was overly complex and in photos often sorta devolves into a nigh-indecipherable mess of black and red.

Also, this is just a personal thing I suppose, but facially I don't think he resembles Carnage, which is my biggest thing. The proportions, jaws, and eye shapes stray too far from classic Carnage for my taste. It looks like a great quality figure and I'm not trying to shit on it, but it's just not my cup of tea.

You joke, but this is pretty much exactly how I felt watching it. It was so hamfisted it felt like it was on two levels of satire: first, the intended "edgy, grim, realistic take on superheroes" the creators intended, and then the one that sailed right over their heads, which highlights how fucking embarrassing and cringy and clumsy the show often is.
