>>8619866I can understand that, I usually need to do a comparison on the shelf between a couple of them (though I do that with every figure if there are multiples to choose from, regardless of the line), fortunately with characters like the Arachnid or any of the JW dinos (hell basically any non-human character) it often doesn't matter if there is some bad paint QC, hell at least in the case of the Warrior Bug, I wish there was more QC issues with paint being in wildly different spots to make them look different, because I'm a little tempted to grab a couple more to have on the shelf.
All that being said, I definitely agree with your point about the draw of vinyl figures, my Bandai Godzilla and Ultraman figures are amazing sculpt wise, and I would LOVE for more western properties to get the vinyl treatment because the look great as display items and I have never had a vinyl figure that felt fragile which is a big plus in this day and age. but until then, I'll take what I can get.
