If it's actually done by like 2 people then it's pretty impressive. But it's likely more than 2 people so at the very least they should take more care to their paint detailing.

One figure is often done by one or two people usually anyway. One sculptor and maybe another person to paint it. MAYBE another person for concept creation, but the sculptor usually has the creativity to create the design himself.

Beasts of the Mesozoic for example was mostly done by one person with him occasionally mentioning a friend who painted some of the figures.

It's industry standard because there is literally no need for multiple people scultping and painting something, it just slows things down. You would however find a different sculptor for each specific figure for a big line, but that's for places like Hasbro that have multiple waves constantly being crunched out each year. Not some indie line that takes a few years to push out another wave, thus enough time for the sculptor to do more stuff.

Honestly these look like how I painted figures when I was 14 years old, same year I panel lined my gundams with thick permanent markers. These should have been better planned out if these are the final product

I could live with the paint apps, but the sculpts look like he made them on a hone 3D printer and didn’t do any real cleanup or sanding. If these were at a third or fourth their prices I would consider buying them as a project to finish up.

I want to like these, I really do, but they just don’t look like they’re worth spending $60. If no one buys these there’s little to no chance improved waves or retoolings might happen down the road, but even if people do buy them there’s no guarantee we get better ones eventually either.

On a plus, they're doing this gorgeous guy in 1/12 scale, and I agree with >>8618036 Even with a phicen body, I can swap out the head if I want. These poor werewolves look like someone's kid made them and they agreed to sell them. I know Creatureplica's are smalltime guys, and while the joints are kinda ugly, overall they looks better than these. I have the Horrorhound and my only real gripe with him is his jaw doesn't open like the other wolves.
