>>8626254>i get your point, but i figure because so many people on here talk about shit that was made years or decades ago, there should always be activity on here regardless of december or whateverSo you're new?
Let me let you in on how consooomerism /toy/ actually is: there's people on this board who give up on a series if they don't get constant new toys.
For example, GI Joe stopped getting new toys sometime around 2016, and almost everything was just a re-re-re-re-release of figures we had already gotten. Because of this, there were some fans who had hundreds of GI Joe figures who sold off all the figures they bought from 2007-2015. Big fans, who gave up, just because nothing new came out.
We've seen this shit happen with other lines as well, like Play Arts, 3a and Revoltech.
This shit happens with stuff media too, like K-On and Lucky Star. Anime no longer being produced? They sold off their collection and moved onto the next flavor of the month.
Watch the Buy Sell Trade thread to see what the CONSOOMERS are offloading next, because they're not real fans and only care about what's popular.
There's very few actual fans on /toy/ and it's pretty obvious based on their collections. Everyone else is a consumerwhore.
