You'd think they can't screw up Sackboy, he's already a soft Pop basically, but they made him too wide for no reason which may be a minor thing but it breaks the likeness just enough to make it off putting.
Also, Retsuko got lucky but some other Sanrio characters in the same exact design style did not. Hello Kitty and My Melo got hit with the typical square-ish heads and larger-than-should-be eyes.
