WotC has been hinting at various Dragonlance things (draconians) coming out in D&D things in the near future, so maybe nothing is affected by the Dragonlance lawsuit.
If i were to guess, since we've rarely ever gotten figurines for Dragonlance characters, i'd say that deep royalties are involved. Considering how companies like Hasbro avoid paying royalties (Pursuit of Cobra was going to be a direct toy tie-in with the movie, but they switched everything to be just generic Gi Joe), this is a reason to believe Weis and Hickman would be owed for every figure produced.
Or it could be Hasbro/WotC don't think any of the Dragonlance characters are popular enough to get toys/minis (despite the first trilogy selling millions of copies).
Who really knows until shit gets announced or doesn't get announced.
