I was thinking more along the lines of regular humanoid characters similar to Gundams and EVAs. I think the only Chogokin that has seriously interested me in the past couple years was the SOC Pacific Rim Gipsy danger, and that didn't have ratchet joints either.
So as far as what Metal Build does, I can't really think of an comparable line that does that tackles the same sorts of figures, but incorporates ratchet joints. I dunno, maybe some 3rd party stuff exists?
