Same thing happened to mine. And I just kicked the leg up on mine when I was checking all the joints taking him out of the box. Got the pants off just fine on mine. Mine was the opposite leg though. The knee joint was also kinda fucked up.

Has anybody had their Dark Knight Triumphant Batman shipped yet? Supposed to be this month, haven't heard or seen any reviews by the usual suspects yet. I caved and ended up preordering all the DKR figures based on the quality of the first Batman. I've got friends who don't even collect figures and they've been in awe of it.

No news yet, see picture at the top f the thread. Mafex have a backlog of figures that have been held up with the virus. They'll probably only release 2 out of the 6ish figures due and the rest will get pushed back again.

So far we've seen pics of the black suit Hush Batman so that will likely come out this month.

I can see them maybe releasing a smiling head with another figure. It could help sell a figure, maybe Poison Ivy. That is if the outcry is loud enough, and they even continue the HUSH line. Here's hoping.

It’s really an impressive figure, captures the Dark Knight look so well. My dream is for them to release an All Star Superman because for me those are the quintessential versions of Superman and Batman. I would be happy with a dark knight Superman in the frank miller style too. I just want the perfect supes to match this particulars batman and the hush one doesn’t quite do it.

I'd also want an All-Star or DKR styled Superman mostly because he'd have more wrinkles and cloth detail to his suit. The generic Jim Lee styled Batman and Superman are a little too plain for my tastes (even though I'll be getting both). Ideally I'd like a little more detail in the spandex so it's not just vacuum-sealed

This and MAFEX Batman gave me HUGE blue balls. I love them but Batman's cape felt too big for me and Superman doesn't have a smiling head. They would have been THE perfect Batman/Superman figures imo if only they had those really small things, which was disappointing but I see why they'd do it. Kind of like releasing Siege Optimus before Earthrise lmao

Well yeah it's not a good story but the Jim Lee designs are pretty good. Can't wait to get Supes, Bats, Catwoman, Hush, whatever else they decide to do (Hopefully Ivy or Huntress). They've translated really well to figure form too.

I somewhat spontaneously removed Batman's cape thinking I would try shortening it without any experience doing so. The cape got fucked so now I'm going to try and make one. Anyone have any tips? Best type of fabric? I want it to drape well.

You can always buy a third party cape for the Mezco Batmens.

Amiami isn’t going to help you. I bought an expensive item from them that had a factory defect and they didn’t care. So I contacted the company who made it and they helped me immediately.

I don’t know how Mafex is with customer service, but you’ll have better luck with them than you will with Amiami.

Unfortunately, yes. The one from the first film is sold out in almost everywhere. If you really need a Robocop you can get the one from the third film, I got it and is virtually the same as the one from the first film (except it doesn't include battle damaged armor pieces but instead has the jetpack and arm cannon). If you want it, it still on amiami.

So I just got my replacement Miles figure from Amiami. This one is in such better condition I feel than the first one I had. I had several weird issues other than the hip breaking on it. The hips on this one are still tight, but not nearly as bad as the first one. I'm still gonna give them a shock oil treatment just to be safe. Overall I gotta give props to Amiami, other than taking a little long because of the New Years holiday, they were spot on with helping me out with my problem. Probably helps I usually buy several items from them a month and I've only cancelled a single pre-order in the 6 or 7 years I've been using them.

With the wires in the cape you can kinda fold it into itself and make it smaller if needed, or else I also heard that people were selling replacement capes. They might be the same size, they might be smaller. The worst part about the Hush Batman is that the fucking cowl is broken on mine. Liked snapped right off where its supposed to connect to the body. I dont even want to risk super gluing it in case I do need to get a replacement cape from one of the wires breaking.

I did this purposefully to replace the cape. It's a pain in the ass because there aren't really any people selling replacements. Especially not wired ones. I'm currently trying to color match fabric online but it's a pain in the fucking ass.

It's the hyper thin limbs in combination with Mafex's usual mediocre QC. If the joints and limbs weren't so thin, it'd probably feel less janky. I imagine since Peter B. Is closer in proportions to most regular figures, it'll hopefully be better with him.

Ok another update, the piece moved into place by forcefully pushing the upper arm towards the chest. In case someone else comes across the same issue, this is not a normal part of the articulation but it can be done and it'll make a click when in place

I would genuinely appreciate a line of top tier supermen figures. I really wish whoever was in charge would just capitalize on Superman. There's atleast half a dozen supermen variations I'd be willing to buy figures of. Especially if mafex handled them. God damn, just imagine

Yeah, the Robocop 2 one is the best IMO. The stronger blue-purple sheen to his armor looks amazing. And I actually sorta prefer the look of the Cain battle damage, even if Robo 1 is the superior movie.

I agree with you up until you claimed robo 1 was the better movie. People dont give robocop 2 enough credit. I'm assuming that explains the unfourtunate lack of Cain merch. Gotta admit though, the inclusion of Cain's brain with the robocop 2 figure was bad ass on mafex's part.

This, I don't know why companies don't do a good classic Superman, like, just as good as they do Batman, or Spiderman, they ALWAYS slack off whenever it's Supes' turn, and as a result, you get subpar figures that nobody wants, and then they think "Oh Supes must not sell well", instead of doing decent Supes figures from beloved artists/stories.

A good, well articulated Alex Ross Supes would sell out in seconds.
