>>8676426I got what I got simply because the engineering and looks they have, but once the mp10 era ended they started losing the charm I had with them, being cool badass robots that I can *just* transform without the manual and being very intuitive.
Now it's either shit qc or little thought for the user experience, take this fucker, I like painted figures, NOT when the paint wears off even with careful use, let alone other problems.
Meanwhile mpm's have (apart from JP mpm prime) been outright better, much more like the older mp's, which bothers me considering they're very much made on a tighter budget (mpm megatron very much needs more fucking paint)
After arcee which seems to be ok my last MP (other than some obscure starscream redeco) will be galvatron, and that'll be it, I'm out of the hobby.
I do like what's going on with the mainline stuff I mean fuck they're using past mp engineering for some figures, I just hate having to toy hunt like a animal since ordering those online is a hit or miss with qc (my siege springer's face looks like he was dunked in a paint bath and left at that) and then fighting with other nerds to get shit.
Sure mp's are just as bad when ordering online, but least I can fucking get them at their rrp and not give into a scalper, and least they look ok, it's the handling part more often that has issues, oddly my luck has only been my mp coneheads that had shit paint issues everything else is as described before so least they can look cool as display pieces which is all I wanted from them unlike main line stuff
