Nevermind all the deals that big retailers like Amazon and shit get. So big box retailers get all these deals to mail shit via USPS for really cheap, or free, and the price they would have been charged for shipping gets kicked back to us.
That's why shipping prices for Joe Average, just trying to hock his used shit on eBay for a few bucks soar out of control, and then on top of it, buyers all bitch at you when you need to charge $15 shipping for an item that a big retailer will ship to them for free.
Its basically not even worth selling anything on eBay anymore unless you know you're going to get at least $50 out of it. If you try to sell a few loose figures and you get a few bucks each out of them and then put them in a box it still costs about $12+ to ship them out. Once fees and shit get factored in, you're basically giving your shit away for free, or even worse, once the dust has settled, you've pretty much paid into the system to "sell" your items.
