>>8685539>>8685578As far as 1 goes, just looking at their site and comparing it to everyone else proves that's bullshit. Prices are about the same as everyone else. They also almost NEVER list anything worthwhile for more than 8% off. They have what has to be some of the most pathetic sale/clearance prices I've ever seen and they are pretty bold in proudly displaying that "3% OFF!" next to their sale prices. The only things I've ever consistently seen at more than 50% off are garbage nobody wants and even then it's fucking rare. Couldn't tell you about 2 but you would think other retailers would be throwing more of a fit if that were true.
As for the credit card hack, only one I can find any evidence of it's from 2010 and it was so few people that they weren't even sure it was them. I've been using them since 2012 and nothing has happened during that time. Stolen credit card info is also ridiculously common and also pretty easy to deal with. Debit cards are a pain in the ass but that's why you would be an idiot to use one online. Still, bigger breaches have happened with bigger companies and yet people will still go back. Just look at Sony.
As for the Glacialord mold, that's a weird one. Only a few folks have given proof so I'm pretty sure the cases are a lot lower than people would have you believe. Not saying they didn't happen and it's still not great but all but one of the pictures I've seen had the mold only on the inside of the box and the single pic that had it outside, I can't really say I'm surprised they didn't notice it right away when the boxes are designed to look beat to shit. They definitely owe those customers something for it though so if they didn't, then that's a problem. Nobody ever mentioned how customer service responded to them though.
Personally, I've had nothing but good experiences with them though and their customer service always resolved any manufacturer issues I've had, like when a figure came with two left arms or shit like that.
