I’m not going to act like LC would have those things with a higher price point, but I do feel like you can chalk most of that up to a higher price point. And it wasn’t all roses either: they had the same crap where you had to buy multiple rangers to get all the forms of the blade blaster. Comparing the original red’s price point in 2014 to LC’s red in 2019, you’re looking at an almost-double price tag for the SHF. It’s more of a difference if you look at the 2018 SHF Red with the Jason head for fairness sake on the accessory front, although it being an exclusive probably bumps that price up a decent amount.

But it’s something the LC has that the SHF doesn’t. And it’s a fallacy to assume that LC is worse, simply because they spend money on an accessory you don’t want (the head) instead of one that you do (idk, more hands maybe).

Marvel Legends in particular. But looking at their PR situation, they’ve got:
a) a ton of money in the hole for the franchise
b) diminishing action figure line budgets annually
c) new factories to make up for increased inventory, and thus tons of QC issues
d) apparently a team full of interns and designers who don’t do their homework on the designs
Hasbro’s not doing a good job, but Hasbro is capable of doing a good job, same way SHF is. This isn’t meant to be argumentative.
