i dont look up any of the pokeguys,but I always see fanart of milo and the shyguy boy( i think his name is alister)
let me give an example.. i remember seeing this bald head guy, no idea what his deal was, just saw him in reaction images and later find out he's the guy in one punch man and this whole time, he was a hit. And i'd see him everywhere. on youtube, here on 4chan, twitter, tumblr, fucking facebook even, he was so popular at one point, that he was just kind of everywhere.
you dont get that with raihan, because he isnt popular.
Now maybe you gay guys like him, and so hes everywhere, and the amount of fanart from you guys reflects that. but one community getting behind a character doesnt mean he's popular in the mainstream.
and if GSC and Nintendo have now decided to pander to a minority group like the gays, well that seems like a bit of a financial risk, but i guess companies are now pandering, not for monetary reasons but maybe ideological ones. which is fine but doesnt prove a character is popular to the general public, but he is probably very popular with gays, ill give you that.
