>>8705170Face printing looks good to human eyes, but it doesn’t photograph as nicely, especially on close ups. For photography purposes, I’d much rather have painted details. But that’s just my personal preference.
I got my Two-Face in yesterday and he’s not bad, but definitely frustrating.
The face sculpts are good. The burn scars are interesting and definitely very Dark Knight Rises inspired. Unfortunately, the paint details on the burns are extremely basic. It definitely could’ve used a few more shades.
The gloss on his left side is fine. Scar tissue has a glossy look compared to real skin.
His accessories are pretty impressive. His pistol has two barrels. His little machine gun looks like he welded two together. His rocket launcher also has two barrels. I also like the various coin hands he comes with.
His suitcase bomb is the most impressive. I never got Black Mask, so this is my fist time seeing it. It’s got some amazing detailed paint work, and the light up feature is a chef’s kiss.
The thing that bothers me the most with this figure is his shirt and tie. Two Face’s clothes are split down the middle. Giving him a single color shirt and tie is basically heresy for the character. Very frustrating.
Overall, I’d say the figure is just ok. His good qualities are canceled out by his bad, making the figure kinda meh. I’ll definitely be adding paint details to mine, and try to figure a way to give him his two toned clothes.
