It's a small (3") yet hefty (due to the diecast metal parts) figure. It's reasonably poseable, it's a cute little thing to have displayed on your desk. The claws can open and close so it can pinch/hold things like post-it notes or what have you. It's cute. I already have one in a different color but I kinda wanna buy this too, I love those 80s colors.

Sentinel sold a 1/12 scale one, once. Can't remember when it came out but it was about $150. Still doesn't fit figma but it was bigger. The one in the OP is one of the 3-inch (1/35) ones, I think.

Not shilling but "RocketPunchArmy" posts a bunch of videos on youtube reviewing these with comparisons and such if you want to see what it'll be like in-hand. Look for reviews of the "35 Mechatro" ones because that's the same scale and line as the OP pic

I’m really on the fence with this. I’ve just gotten into WeGos and have built and detailed (at least to my ability) one set of 35’s and am struggling to find the drive to finish a 20. $40-ish for a completed WeGo that’s packed with articulation and beautiful color seems like a great idea but I’m balking because I’m looking right at my pair of 35’s and I just don’t know if I can put $40+shipping into something that small.

No one seem to have mentioned it yet in this thread, but be aware there are model kits AND completed figures of this design out there. Sentinel ones like OP pic is completed with diecast. But there is also model kit from them, from Hasegawa, and also Kotobukiya too iirc.

The one in OP pic is a completed figure, with diecast parts. It costs about $40. The kits are around $20 and come with two of them per kit.

It's a bit of a tough leap to make, yeah. Especially when you think "I could have four kit WeGos for the price of this one." I bought one of the Sentinel ones and it's just really pleasant to hold and pose, a weighty little thing that feels very high-quality (plus that captivating cool feel of the diecast). I tend to mess with it more than my built kit ones.

That’s a good point; I don’t mess with the kits much because of their fragility and light weight.

Maybe I’ll go ahead and put it on pre-order. I’m working on streamlining my collection to just robots, anyway.

The Kotobukiya one was a collab with Hasegawa. It was a 1/20 scale Hasegawa kit paired with a Hand Scale Frame Arms Girl Gourai, which is small enough to ride inside.

I just pulled the trigger on a used 12 Light Blue (the one in your pic) from Japan. Price was low enough and condition looked good enough that I could consider it...I really hope it makes the trip in good shape.
