>>8740575>thread has been literally nothing but shitposts from the startNot even remotely true. It started with a reflection on the Kickstarter figure/s, which I , and many others, are genuinely interested in seeing. There was discussion about the cape being glued and socketed on, about the sculpt and Todd's decision to have a set pose. The articulation was discussed and there was interesting conversation about Todd, his position in the industry, his past works and why he makes the choices he does.
Then, just as things were feeling comfy, Subby drops in and instantly spergs out because he feels that any criticism of McFarlane toys is a direct insult to him. Then the same anons started arguing with himabout the EXACT SAME THINGS that they always argue about. It goes a bit like this:
Subby: McFarlane toys are better than imports because they're the same quality but imports overcharge
Anon: are you crazy? There's huge quality differences (lists off valid reasons and some exaggerations) and imports have better articulation
*Subby gets triggered by the "A" word and begins to rant about points of articulation and how McFarlane Toys are the reason that Revoltech exists and blah blah blah*
Anon: but points of articulation aren't a direct indication of actual ability for a figure to pose
Subby: but mCf better
Anon: post your McF toys doing this pose (posts pic of import, usually Revoltech, doing a pose)
Subby: you moved the goalposts, rant, changes topic
Anon: do it. post your toys in this pose
And so it goes for the rest of the thread, Subby refusing to post any toys doing anything and anons continuing to feed his ego by replying.
I wish people would just ignore him for a change. Sure, the sperging would increase in intensity, but if no-one replies then he'll probably leave.
