The company I work for tried partnering with another local company once.

They straight ripped us off and ran away with our cash, leaving us with worthless shit that was unsafe to use.

My friend just started a bakery and the commercial space she got had all kinds of equipment left behind by the catering company that used to lease the space. It's not unusual for a business to just leave shit behind if they don't want to fuck with moving it. Same as if you were to rent a house and move out, there's nothing stopping you from just leaving all your furniture behind if you didn't want to move it with you. It's the property owner's problem at that point.

This answers my question as to when and where they made that leap. Ordered one item with them back when the Strong Guy Legends started releasing and I had no issues. Come August and September, they tried to argue with me about keeping my money for a pre-order I never received, so I told them I'd file with the BBB and they caved quickly.
