If you're talking about the vintage Wonder Bread He-Man, his weapons were random and were the same weapons that came in the special Man-E-Weapons versions of Man-E-Faces. He came with I believe 2 or 3 random maroon weapons, which are shown here with the Man-E-Faces, and could include a shield. The weapons were the Castle Grayskull weapons rack weapons cast in maroon colors. Mattel after they stopped giving out the Savage He-Man figures after a mother wrote a letter and complained that the figure was a completely new repaint that wasn't advertised as such took the weapons that they had laying around for him, and gave them away in the Man-E-Faces figures to burn them off.

I’m sure he got the price knocked down quite a bit. I seen him with some other youtubers at a big show in St Louis. He was like a movie star there. I was at a table looking through some things and he came by, dealer told him whatever he wanted was half price and wound up just giving him a bunch of the stuff for free. Not hating on him cause he has put in work but he got that thing for a steal for sure. I also do know the shops get excited when he visits and let him film almost a commercial. There was a shop he went to before which isn’t too far from me. I swung by there to get one of thing he showed they had and it was gone. Shop owner said he got calls and emails for anything shown in the video was all gone right after his video aired.

This is definitely unusual, there must have been something that stopped wave 5 from getting made (maybe someone's Legends contract needed renewing?) so out came wave 6. Someone also suggested that since Goldberg is going to wrestle soon, that maybe they wanted to some figures of him out there.

Does Mattel even own Bravestarr anymore? When MOTUC was going on and people suggested him I thought he was Classic Media/ Universal. I mean if Mattel got rid of rights to one of their all time best sellers think how fast they ditched one of their flop lines. I mean back then, who ever thought any of these lines would ever come back?? I didn’t think I’d be 40 and buying He-Man, Transformers and GI Joe again but here we are.

Last thing i heard is that Dreamworks acquired the Classic Media catalog almost a decade ago but it's unknown if they can do something new with it or just license the old series for streaming/home video.

It won't work. Fiend's weapon uses the regular hand pegs, the Kane/Roboto accessories have thicker pegs for a larger slot that only work for their right arms.

It's worded very vaguely. Most MOTU merch is trademarked to Classic Media, but Mattel is doing both of the new series without DreamWorks' involvement. If DreamWorks owns the licenses outright, we should see a trademark notice for CM in the credits for both shows.

MOTU having a grand resurgence is a weird monkey's paw. The franchise's aesthetic is JUST unique enough where it's kitchy to most but definitely not alienating. If it goes the way I think it's going you're probably gonna see 20 year olds riding skateboards with Scareglow decals wearing Preternia shirts which isn't the worst thing desu.

The more I look at that Preternia painting, the weirder it gets.
Characters on the right are coming through a portal from the present, where CG and Snake Mountain can be seen. Did Skeletor and Hordak make a truce to walk through together? And the Sorceress is flying through to warn the heroes on the left who are already there?
Are Gwildor and his Cosmic Key responsible for the characters on the left time traveling? He has this guilty expression on his face like he's thinking of nipping off to the local tavern until this blows over.
Is Faker about to shiv Prince Adam, or has he been converted to good?
Why isn't Kiss Hiss in Preternia? And did Scare Glow and Ninjor sneak into this era with the heroes when they came?

What sucks is resin casting and painting that shit by hand is actually tough work, but he chose the lamest fucking colors to do it in. Not saying it's worth $500, but the materials + labor probably justify a solid $150-200. If only the colors were interesting enough to justify its existence.

Nothing has really ever replaced them in the 1/12 MOTU market, so what does exist is both desirable and somewhat rare among the limited but zealous He-Man niche.

They're doing a Battle Armor Skeletor in Origins, so I would just get that instead. It's $20 and the chest gimmick works, and the articulation is probably on par with or better than most Classics figures.

There's a less than zero chance that Masterverse will include Classics reissues. They have figures listed as "Classic X" on the docket, and Mattel is notorious for re-using figures they already have. So don't give up quite yet. But yeah the line ran from 2008-2015-ish and a lot of the "famous" variants and characters happened early.

Would fans of WWE MOTU want WWE Masterverse too? As much as I like the current figures I can't help but feel like if they did these WWEternians in Masterverse form it would truly realize the characters, make them appear more like the artwork portrays them, for example. Tbh, I've felt like these fantasy type WWE figures would have been great since WWE Immortals and was hoping that we'd have gotten figures for those back then. Masterverse WWE would be like that, but even better, I'd think.

Animals irl are ripped to shreds, so if there was an anthropomorphic warrior animal it would not be surprise me if they were massive. That aside, with fur or Moss Man's swampy body, I'd imagine that those bodies wouldn't be as ripped looking as the usual due to the extra textures. Also, MOTU has the benefit of having armor that can often hide details, so for all anyone knows Fisto's got a big gut underneath his armor. And there's always Ram Man. But ya, the more silhouettes among characters the better. 200X did this quite well, everyone looked distinct.

I assume you mean they're the same size as the Turtles, which is fine, that would put both around 6" (Origins are when you straighten the legs out). Given that Ultimates is a 7" line, that makes sense, given that the turtles aren't 6' tall, so 6" in a ~1/10 line it makes some sense. I guess basically what I'm trying to say is I don't get what you're trying to say.

From proportions alone Origins isn't a 1/12 line, and to say it is is just odd.

They're still under 6" standing tall, so all characters are under 6'? We already know the proportions are off, so it wouldn't even be a scaled line if they were appropriately tall, not to mention they're all the same sizes besides the girls who are a bit shorter.

1/12 honestly confuses so many people that it's laughable, it really isn't complicated. People calling SC 1/12, ML 1/12, BS 1/12, when all 3 are scaled completely different. If you want to call at least those latter 2 6" lines then that'd at least be somewhat accurate, since they're around that height as figures. You could even stretch this to call Origins a 6" line, though it's pretty obvious that it isn't something that would scale with those adjacent lines, and even if they're shorter than 6" with fully extended legs, but it isn't a 1/12 line.

So what's a good price to pay for classics stuff? I'm a newfag to this and wanted to get Savage He-Man, Battle Lion and the the Green Goddess but it totals at £584 and that does seems a bit inflated since they other less popular characters on the same site for 80 - 90.

MISB and this is from a online store called toyecentral.
There are worst examples on the site like Battle Cat being near 500 and Skeletor 300.
I've found cheaper online classics before domestically but not the specific ones I'm looking for and in Clawful's case it's mostly just the filmation

It varies insanely. If you're in the US you might be able to find someone selling their loose stuff for relatively cheap, especially POP, NA and other non-original-toy, non-Filmation figures. BBTS still has a few of those for $20 a pop.

If you're outside the US, things get much harder. Keep an eye on local marketplaces for collector stuff and see if somebody unloads something, but otherwise you're gonna be paying more.

Finally, the price per figure varies crazily. The toy-accurate original characters are the worst, as some of them never even had a single reissue (Two-Bad, Sorceress, Ram Man, Jitsu etc) and can spike up insanely. Others which are less desired or were available multiple times are much cheaper (Basic He-Man/Skelly, Man-At-Arms, Roboto, Buzz-Off, Ninjor, Blast Attak).

Castle Greyskull is a total crapshoot at this point as is the Filmation-accurate Granamyr.

The main problem is that Mattel halfway through the line had the ingenious revelation that reissues of figures sold much worse than the first editions, and for that reason they first downsized reissues and then stopped them altogether, at which point you could only get older figures if they put them up as Evergreens or found some consumer return stock they sold off. That was in the last few years of the line, and a lot of figures from that period were high sought-after for completion's sake. Fisto, Sorceress and Ram Man are probably the worst, they all tend to go for $200+ each at this point unless you get insanely lucky. Super7 did a reissue of Ram Man but it was print on demand (so to speak) so very few will come onto the secondary market AND he has his less popular orange clothes from the original control art rather than the toy/show accurate green and red.

That seems like a pretty dumb decision on Mattel's part but they always seem to make those kinda choices.
Anyway I did some looking around, the only ones I found for cheaper were Spector for 45 and Gygor for 97.
Most used prices seem to be about 45 - 100 which isn't as bad as the others but the options are limited though I found some other things I like like Demo Man for 60 and Otikk for 70 though I haven't bought anything yet.

FYI Mattel is releasing another line in Classics scale this fall, so don't bother with core figures. Weird shit like Filmation-accurate and OCs are absolutely not going to be revisited so I'd go for those as opposed to obvious characters like Fisto or Buzz Off. I'm holding out hope the new line will at the very least fit in with Classics characters even if they use none of the same parts.

I think the reason that they went with an updated style was to make a He-Man that a whole new group of kids can make there own. Plus giving the Battle Armor figures the retro style heads only gave me more reason to buy them.

It's probably a Classics thing. Mattel based the color scheme of their first Mega Construx Skeletor on the Classics toy, so we know they have those in mind.
