>>8723708Honestly, I was thinking the exact same thing. I remember as a kid I'd just have Batman or whatever with one rigid outstretched are but as I moved the figure to "punch" the other figure in my head plays out a more dynamic scene. Maybe in a way that creates more of a connection?
>>8723720Yes, Kenner especially seemed to understand that 5POA doesn't just mean straight arms and legs, even a minor bend in the elbow or knee can give a lot of personality to the figure and help set off the sculpt. So they're playable and look good on the shelf.
>>8723723Yeah, I've been collection Movie Monster Series figures like crazy the past couple years and I love them. A friend asked me why I love vinyl figures so much, and I explained how they're cheap, the paint is good, the sculpt is always great, and then I tossed it over my shoulder onto a hardwood floor and said "and I can do that without worrying if it broke." Not that I go around throwing my toys, but let's see Monsterarts handle that.
