Why is mcfarlane only releasing one or two figures at a time for waves in their DC line? Why cant they just release the whole wave at once like normal companies do?

I think the reason is to avoid pegwarmers. Retailers won't want the next wave if they're still sitting on last wave's figures. Look at Hasbro and the mess that Age of Extinction or The Last Jedi left. Shit was on shelves for years.

I didn't say it was a perfect solution, I just read an interview where he justifies only making certain characters and weening the figures out slower as a better method of production than doing the whole DC roster straight out the gate in big bloated waves.
