I imagined they were going to do a better job at paint though. Shading would have been a huge boon. As would better painted faces.
I keep forgetting that Japanese companies tend to go with flat paint jobs and don't like to do washes either... not that there's anything for a wash to actually hold onto on those doughy as fuck sculpts.
Compare them to current Chinese shit? It's like night and day.
