>>8736619>Saying this as a person who actually enjoyed BM, this sentence leads me to strongly suspect this of being b8.Why would it be bait? Almost every character personality in Beast Machines is an offshoot of their character in Beast Wars:
>CheetorAt the end of BW he was more mature and rebelled against a lot of Primal's ideas. In BM he's more mature to the point of being a solid second in command. He trusts Primal for the most part, be isn't afraid to call him out on his bullshit.
>PrimalIn BW he was always super knowledgeable of Cybertrons history, he was a complete Optimus Prime fanboy in Season 3, and his virtuous personality in BW extended to him becoming a religious zealot. His connectio. With the history of his culture becomes fully realized in BM and it makes sense
>Rattrap He was a smart ass who relied on gadgets gadgets guns in BW. In BM, he gets robbed of his guns and feels like shit because of it. His new transformation directly conflicts with his BW personality, so it makes sense for him to take a while to come to grips with the new state of things. Once he does, he's still the same old smart ass, but has learned to rely on sneaky tech rather than guns.
>Blackarachnia At the end of BW she got rid of her Predacon core and actually became more of a team player. In BM this is expanded upon because she's an excellent team player, but most of her actions revolve around her love interest. It's solid character growth because she's gone from being a selfish bitch to a selfless mate.
I mean, I could go on. But I don't want to flood with text. Even Rhinox's change in character makes sense if you use older BW episodes as references. The only character I though didn't act super accurate was Megatron. He wasn't nearly as much of an asshole as he was in BW. But I just attributed that to him growing as a character in the time skip.
