>>8737195Get the most recent reissues of the rebels gals in the new boxes. I've yet to get her, but Sabine is like night and day.
I do have the older Hera, and just as a figure she's OK; nothing new in terms of Hasbro females. I was fortunate to get a copy with a solid face, so I don't think I'll update her. Also consider Chopper if you like droids. Don't have him, but he looks fun.
>>8740051I think the weakest thing about Rebels is that it felt like the character arcs were in a holding pattern, and plot points were wrapped up just as quickly as they were introduced.
Ezra is our main boy; love him or hate him, but he kept going back to season 1 Ezra. The Old Wounds episode was mostly a crummy Ezra episode where we learned a valuable lesson that he should have in the first half of the show, not the last.
Sabine was barely a character for most of the show. Then they gave her one of the best episodes of the series, only to write her out for the rest of that season.
They back tracked Kallus being pure dag-nasty evil, and found a whole planet of Zebs, so he had nothing to do for the rest of the show.
Kanan already fulfilled his Obi-Wan role, but they kept him around and teased us with the prospect of him becoming a somthing other than a jedi only to kill him off anyway.
Hera is my favorite Disney Wars character, but it wasn't her show, so she only got like 5 episodes.
(I'm happy with the amount of Chopper we got.)
I also really wanted to see more character interaction between the Ghost crew themselves, and the guest characters. Girl power episode with Ahsoka, Sabine, & Hera. VODE AN episode with Sabine, Rex, Fenn Rou, & Zeb. Stuff like that.
