Fuck anons, I can't browse /toy/, too much nostalgia and pain about toys I lost...
Still remember the megabloks dragon metal ages line, was really sweet.

I liked the soldier designs too, not just dragons. Some pieces were kind of flimsy tho, but aesthetics wise they were good.

They were really fun, value toys. That two headed dragon came with a volcano and like 12 knights to battle. I was fortunate enough to get the sailing ship with the blue dragon too.

i had the earliest sets, before the fire and ice thing. can someone give me a quick run down on how it expanded to being about fire and ice, diamonds or something, and then cyrbenetic future soldiers? obviously i had checked out well before then. it all seems based though.

I had this one. I think it was the only mega bloks set that I had. I don't know what happened to the dragon and I hated the ground plate thing because it only had nubs randomly placed and not covering it like lego ones did, but I used the catapult and the knights and their weapons a lot when I'd play with my legos.

Yeah, I mostly just had few dragon eggs (mostly from metal ages), some soldier kits and that big ass red dragon that I posted in OP. I guess I will look around in the attic when it's less cold, try to find them.

Wiki is about as much info as I could find, I think I also have some CDs that had some lore in them, plus flash mini vidya games. Besides that, I think there were actually films made for this.

How'd you lose them? Sorry to hear about that, dude. Any chance you can find some of them again? I never had any Mega Bloks stuff growing up but did find some of them at thrift stores now and then.

Funny you post this. I have recently been playing with my old sets with my son. He's 3 and into dinosaurs, but the dragons I've collected are even more cool than the current JP lineup. I have variants of all the ones you guys posted. I'm glad I hung onto all my old toys. Ill always be grateful my dad got them for me when we'd visit toys r us.

i had this one too, i believe its from the first wave. This is one of my favorite christmas memories. i remember convincing my dad to get me the booster pack tins on occasion that year as well.
