>>8871832You can make a room of decent size pretty easily with the two boxes.
>>8872736Amazon and Mandarake are your best bets for good prices on them. JP shipping to Yankeestan can be a bit pricey because of Covid but if you're using Amazon it's not too bad. If you have a mall with a Tokyo Lifestyle that's open near you they also tend to carry these sets, but they mark up a little.
>>8872776The sets themselves are pretty good. I've not really got any complaints. The Oedo Japonism set has some globbier paint on a few pieces but it doesn't really look bad.
I will say that the stickers, or rather whether you need to apply the stickers yourself or not, is somewhat inconsistent. Pretty much all the stickering has to be done manually for the liquor store box, but not for the 80's box, which I recall only requiring you to put on the reflective stickers for the magical girl/Pretty Cure style toys.
>>8872965Another anon already mentioned the name for the room sets so I'll tell you from the top of my head that the chabudai is from the Re-Ment Showa Era Nostaliga kit and the two zabuton are from the Re-Ment Gorgeous Sushi box set. Most of the other decor is from the boxes I posted earlier, and the laptop is from Re-Ment's Life With Small Bird box set. The figma is Akane Shinjo and I have a few of her accessories in the room as well. The little cat resting near the shelf (now on the zabuton) is from figma Aya Kagura.

If you wanna use the kotatsu or one of the bigger chabudai I'd buy four and build a 12 tatami room.
