Not my usual scale but I randomly went on a classic Popeye binge last year so I am extremely into these. Bluto looks a bit off and packing in the Jeep with Castor Oyl is a dirty way to get people to buy the whole set but they look good overall. I hope they do well enough for them to release Pappy and Wimpy.

I have only watched the Fleicher series but I don't recall him showing up even once. I get that they are paying tribute to Popeye's origins but Thimble Theater is a niche within a niche.

I like these Popeye toys. I didn’t get the new mezco ones because I didn’t like the realistic look

Super7 did well with the Ren and Stimpy figures, I'd buy from them. I've only ever gotten the vitruvian hacks figures from bossfight, and though they're nice, their small joints and cheap-feeling plastic feels less toyetic to me.
