are the revoltech HNK figures must-haves, or should I wait on the new SAS line to start a HNK collection? pros and cons?

The revoltechs are trash, wait for the SAS.

I started collecting during the 199x/200x era and the DX Ken, Roah and Bat were the pinnacle, but revoltech were a complete step backwards in my opionin.

>Small scale (kenshiro is only 145cm)
>Unpainted skin
>Soft off model scultps

The only thing going for them was the price and articulation. I only got the musou kenshiro & raoh for the effects.

The SAS on the other hand look great, bigger, and 100x better sculpt and paint.

no problem. For reference the SAS kenshiro is going to be 175mm, and Jonathan here is 170mm.

I have all of the revo hnk except for the final battle ken and raoh (i got the gold variants instead). It is a good line for HNK at the time considering they went deep with the characters (no yuda though). But yeah, no need to get them now since SAS is doing it now with better scale, sculpts, and articulation. Just hope they’ll go deep like what kaiyodo did.
